7x7 Checkers Rules
Rules for 7x7 Checkers:
Played on a 7x7 board.
Black plays first.
Same rules as English Checkers.
Played with Checkers board notation. Square #1 is on 1st row of Black's side, 2nd square from the right.
So there is 3 pieces on 1st row of both players, 4 pieces on 2nd row. 14 pieces total, 7 for each side.
24 playable squares.
The Variation defeats the chance of someone using software to aid their games...unless someone starts making one now.
The game will take more perfect moves to draw. So mistakes are less tolerable.
I've been wanting a place to play this variation and Fencer told me to post the rules here :)
