Loop Chess follows the same rules and the same starting position as the standard chess. However, there is one significant difference that makes this variation one of the most interesting and entertaining one. The opponent's pieces that the player captures are displayed under (or over, depending on the board orientation) the board in Extra pieces field and the opposite color - they will become the new pieces of the player who captured them. These pieces can be placed back to any empty square at the chess board, one piece at one move (it replaces a standard chess move). The following picture displays an example of the position before and after extra piece placing:

"Extra" pawn cannot be placed at the first or the last row.
The functionality of the placed piece is immediate. It is possible to give a check, a checkmate or cancel an opponent's check by this piece.
