Hrqls: Clo(w)ning backgammon is a special case. When it was first introduced, the rule for win was different. I don't quite recall how it went, but it took into account the number of stones. Under that rule starting 15, 21-point games made sense, and I entered 2 of those. Shortly after, the rules were changed to the present form, unfortunately also for tournaments that were already started. Some of those tournaments will outlive me. So indeed, I see no

problem with the system...
