Really, if you just use your PC for just everyday internet use, Registry cleaners are not needed. If you download and Install (and more to the point UNINSTALL) lots of programs then they are very useful

(BUT always remember to make a Back-up)

MadMonkey: Eusing asks automatically and then backs up the registry before cleaning. Neer had any problems with it on XP or 7.

Though, as a all in one http://slimcleaner.com/ I've found works better on Win 7 as a good registry cleaner and washer of all old internet junk from your caches, etc.
