I would just like to excite your imagination.

In Westernized chess, one thing is irritating: the finals with Bishops on different colored cases. What do you think about the possibility of Bishop to move from one cell like the Rook?

I am surprised that so far, person had the idea of joining the cannon of Chinese chess. You know, the piece that moves as the Rook but could capture only if another piece is screening to the target.

I think it would be good to add it to a game like chess Grand Chess.

What do you think?

P-G: 1) I would not like to change the rules of chess. 2) A bishop that adds rook movements to its existing movement is called a queen. 3) As a variant, I doubt it'll see much of a fan base; there are already many chess variants.

AbigailII: Sorry for my rough english. I thought about only ONE move like a Rook, in order to eludate the dumb finals with Bishops on different colored square.
