Abril 2005, 10:13:51)  AbigailII: Your Pancreas produces insulin.Your body doesn't absorb insulin unless your on insulin.Yes being over weight is a factor of Class 11 Diabetics so is genetics.Eating high fats and alot of sugar can make you over weight.Eating alot of sugar per se does not cause you to become diabetic.
