You'd not mentioned previously that a statement had been made about reissuing a second cheque to you. I have no other advice to give you but hope that the payment was indeed sent to you which would restore faith in this person. My only input would be to say I can see mail getting lost once but certainly not twice.

As you can see by the timestamps I have spent an hour coming back to these messages today. I do not usually have an hour to spend like this. I will stop in here from time to time and see if anything develops.
