Nothingness
Sujet: auto vacation
I'm involved in a tournament where one individual has not made their fist move yet in over a month. They are on Auto vacation mode and their alloted amount of vacation has not gone down each day, it stays the same and they still have not even been logged in since October. is this a glitch? also does auto vacation ever deduct if i move in some games and not in others? if i have 30 days and i move in 3 of my 5 games will i still lose a day? since i did not move in those two games?

Nothingness: I assume this is the tournament you are talking about:

Back*turnajek

It has a time control of 30 days per move. With weekend days, that is 6 weeks per move, so there is no reason for him to lose vacation days.

It is ridiculous to have a tournament with time controls that long....

happyjuggler0: Yes, it is ridiculous, but no one was forced to play in such conditions.

happyjuggler0: No, it's not ridiculous, happyjuggler! Notice it is a "Hypergammon game". A move must be carefully studied!

happyjuggler0: Luck is with you : there's only one game between each opponent.

Mélusine: I'm not the one playing in the tournament. Although "playing" is perhaps not the right word....
