NIGHTFALL (August 25th, 2001 - Strand "Zuid" - NL)

I recall
no sweet night as this one
sitting on the beach
and feeling the sultry wind
around my shoulders
through my hair (as if it were your fingers)
O, fair
fair young night
looking inside
your door, what brings thy dream
all for what it seem
and for what I believe
is a sudden feeling of quietness, relieve
and a relaxing sigh
after the rocking waves asked "why"..
and the red of the sun
slowly fades away
towards another day
on the other side of the world.
