I think it is remarkable that within a week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair. In the last few years, with photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc. And, they not only knew the cause of the family fight, but they even knew it was a wedge from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade. Not only that, they knew which wedge!
And each and every day, they gave America more updates on his sex-rehab stay, his wife's plans for divorce, and the dates and tournaments he will play in.
Obama has been in office for over a year now, and this same press:
· Still cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors,
· Or locate any of Obama's college papers or grades,
· Or how he paid for a Harvard education,
· Or which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980's,
· Or Barry Soretoro or even Michelle Obama's Princeton thesis on racism.
· They just can't seem to find them.
· Yet the public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth !
Tuesday: You apparently missed the point of the article. It's the press's job to research fairly and across the board. They probably know things about Obama that they aren't going to print because it won't reflect well on him. That's bias. But with Bush, they even made things up (see Rathergate).
Tuesday: Yeah. Obvious after I had to point it out.
Obama is losing ground with the Left, and even middle-of the road Democrats. More and more you hear them talk about buyer's remorse when it comes to Obama. And we know he's a liar. He campaigned as a centrist, but leads from the left. Most of what he's for, the majority of Americans are against. He doesn't represent the people.
Tuesday: It's not just the Right. It's the Left and a huge number of Independents. Independents are the ones that voted him into office. They will decide the next election as well. So much for hope and change. Hopelessness and Charades.
Tuesday: YOu should read it. It's written by a black man and so his perspective is important to really understand the issues.
Bush got us into a mess but Obama is pushing us in deeper. All the financial experts are warning that we cannot sustain this massive debt. But Obama doesn't listen. Even his own financial Czar is telling warning him.
Artful Dodger: Look up where Saint Ronny was at this point in time in his first term as President,Clinton also. While I am not overly impressed with Obama so far, he could easily improve by leaps and bounds in the opinion polls
Jim Dandy: You are quite right. I think what's most interesting is how Obama started out as the Messiah and now he's getting the Persona Non Grata status.
Jim Dandy: Probably true. Blame the media on his rise to fame. Idiots like those on MSNBC were getting "chills up and down their legs" (seriously, who in the media talks like that about politicians???). Also, Obama made many promises, numerous claims, and when the reality of the Presidency hit him, he had to break promises etc. So in some ways he set himself up for his drop in popularity.
It's interesting that within a year one began hearing liberals talk of buyers remorse. Put "buyers remorse obama" in a good search. Interesting.
