Snoopy: I've not heard a case of a patient dying through negligence for some years in a corridor, waiting years for minor ops.... From experience I know that is not true. The odd exception may take place, but making that appear the norm is not true.

As for Doctors working 80 hours... since 1994 regulations have in place under EU law and even soon after the rules were made, 95% of docs were working less then the 58 hours.

It was all over the news about the EU law on doctors hours.
