Congrats, all well & good. I just wish it wasn't added in the middle of my game. ALTHOUGH, this does bring up a good thought;
Fencer, what do you think about the idea of adding "Dark" variants of Jungle and Espionage games? (the choice of NOT showing the Captured Pieces) I prefer a little mystery in the games, know what I mean? :)
Thanx friend.......

Walter Montego: The RTE is a mechanism to type with the mouse :)

You need JavaScript enabled to view the link that opens it up.

I made three screenshots, just for you ...
a) No JavaScript
b) JavaScript on (update with some text in it)
c) The RTE ready for editing (update with with text in it)

However that would be nice if implemented directly on bk.

joshi tm:Well, actually I think these options are getting inconvinient all of them being there at the same time.  If I want to choose one, I have to look through a long list and find it.  That's while many of those options are not used by me.  There are only a few that I use.  So I think it'd be nice if we could choose which ones to appear on our list.  Then Fencer could add as many as he wanted, an dwe could choose those we need.

On the main Profile page, users can write a text about themselves. Some users have a very looong text in there, and you have to scroll all the way down the page to find the Friends/Enemies links and the invite to a game option.
Why not push these actions to the top of that text, so that all the options are easilly accessible?

MadMonkey: Just replying to myself.
I requested a 'Move and goto next TEAM Tournament' option in the Drop list (dont shout i know its a good idea).
I was just wondering why the 'Move and goto next game of this Tournament' do what it says it should do??
It seems it does not count Team Tourny's as actual Tournaments, most odd...

Amandakmg365: Do you mean the following: if you just placed the boats randomly by choosing the "random placement of remaining pieces" option and don't like the setup, that you can generate another random position with one (new) button instead of clearing the board and randomizing it afterwards.

Sujet: Re: Battlebboats games
Amandakmg365: I don't understand the question either then.

If you are just looking to remove 1 piece that you don't like the placement of, then just click on that 1 piece.

If you don't like ANY of the layout of ALL of the pices, then like Mr. Shumway said - choose the "clear this position" option below the board to clear the board where you can then start over.

Sujet: Re:
mctrivia: You have given me the answer!!
Let the 'doubling' affect just the Action Points.
If the player refuses the double, then the winner just collects 5 points.
If the player accepts the double and then loses, 10 points is DEDUCTED from his Action Points.
If the doubler loses, then 10 points is deducted from his Action Points total.
Perfect (the points may/will be different for pawns but the principle is the same).
Of course, some players may reckon that they will get more move points by playing on than refusing the double; perhaps the rules could NOT count any moves after a double.

Sujet: Re:
El Cid: The doubling the points lost is stuped the purpose of the points is to show if they can play not if they are good at realising when they are beet. As for a claim victory option in games like Spider Line 4 I always say good game to my oponent when I have them so they can't possibly win. If it is someone I play a lot of games I will then give them a list of every posible move I and they can make showing they have losts but I do that for those I am trying to teach only.

What if someone decided to claim victory after the first move, like it happens sometimes with doubling-cube (I hope it's well written)

tonyh: I don't think the claim victory is a good idea (or at least losing double rating points.) This would work in totally lost endgames, but what if it was a position where a player was losing but barely behind. Then this option of losing double rating points simply would not work.

joshi tm: This is a little silly, you should only resign if it's mathematically impossible to win, not just a miniscule chance.

And I AM a rook and absolutely hate games dragging on. I'm not interested in playing lots of games at once.
