As it is by invite only it does not have to be in a Fellowship. I see no point in joining if you are not going to participate. Another thing I don't care for on those is that they are random games. I only join ones that I know the game I will be playing as I don't know how to play a lot of the games, i,e, chess for one and there are many versions of that.
