Board for everybody who is interested in BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future.
If you experience connection or speed problems with BrainKing, please visit Host Tracker and check "BrainKing.com" accessibility from various sites around the world. It may answer whether an issue is caused by BrainKing itself or your local network (or ISP provider).
conxhans: thanks- very good point.
People should pay attention to the amount of times per move and also to check and see if an opponent is using 'auto-vacation' which can hold up games for a very long time as well.
Andersp: I believe that he's now banned from posting and it's being cleaned up. It was taken care of pretty quickly, all things considered, in my opinion.
alanback: they are talking about the little plus sign on the column on the left (on my computer anyways) under 'Statistics'
My right click doesn't work anymore, but my smileys still do, so I'm not messing with anything else!
Walter Montego: well yes, for paying members because only paying members can have or be in fellowships. It's a priviledge for paying members. But anyone who is a paying member can create their own fellowship for anything they want. There have been many made for moderating issues. In fact, Kipling may still have one. I'm not sure. But you can create a fellowship for anything you want.
harley: actually, I think there used to be a couple of them.(fellowships about Mods open to all members)...
Clay had one, Thad had one and so did Taz. If I'm not mistaken, those are all gone now.
Scarlet: word of mouth of a bunch of people gossiping won't affect a site in which people come to play games. It can cause people to want to leave tho.
Tuesday: Why should they have to prove something that isn't true?
There's no proof there are multinics.
Fencer takes care of that. Don't you think that if it were true, something would have been done about it?
That right there is proof enough.
Tuesday: Every family is different then, aren't they? I'm godparents to 3 children and I've never had to submit to an interview. All they did was ask me and I said "yes".
And what does that have to do with a game site anyways?
Truthfully, I've about had it with this place. It used to be a friendly place where people could come to get away from their troubles and have fun and make friends. It doesn't feel like that any more to me.
It feels like a witch hunt, and for what purpose?
Comparing it to the KM is absurd. There's been no mass cheating and in fact, the tournaments started by many of the family members are prize tourneys for players on the site in which they aren't even participating. Look at their ratings....why would anyone accuse them of being a multi-nic for cheating purposes?
These people are my friends and are NOT multinics, and I'm very tired of this mob mentality. The only reason that I can come up with for everyone's curiosity is plain, simple nosiness.
"Inquiring minds have to know". Go buy a People magazine, or National Inquirer or a Star. I'm sure there's plenty of stories there far more interesting.
I don't wish to get into a discussion about all this. So this is all I plan to say.
I just don't understand what everyone is so concerned about.
I've seen no 'proof' that convinces me that there was anything to cover up. I believe that a good person who played here passed away. There is no "hoax".
He was a great help to this site. This is very disrespectful to his memory.
It's all idle speculation, and really doesn't have anything to do with this game site. It has no impact on what goes on here or how the site moves forward.
I don't blame the family for not responding. I wouldn't waste my time responding to a bunch of speculation and accusations hurled at me by people who don't know me, and frankly is none of their business.
It has no bearing on this site.
I don't understand why everyone is so worried about someone else's lives.
How would you all react if someone put your private lives on display here and demanded you answer questions that have nothing to do with playing games on here or the running of this site?
Argomento: Re: Don't worry, this is my last thought on the matter.
playBunny: I see both your sides in this, but the one thing I don't think anyone would be pleased about is seeing all the love and emotion be replaced by a disagreement, especially between two caring people.
Can't we just agree to disagree and try to get back to normal?
If you scroll down to panda's beautiful message, she asked that we try to get back to normal.
I think we should respect her wishes.
That's all I meant.
Tuesday: my advice...be yourself= can't go wrong there!
I think the point is that this board is supposed to be about Brainking and it's features.
That chat and snowball fights are better on the Members board or GC...
Princess Alison: it hasn't been much of a problem this side of the pond...a minute or two today that I know of, but aside from that, up and running just fine
Eriisa: someone's gotta do it, right?
ok, how about the gammon dice...I know that before you weren't forced to use both dice, you could work around it..I'm probably not explaining that well, but I bet y'all know what I mean. Anyways, it seems "fixed" now and that seems new too..so whenever that happened, Thanks Fencer!
Every fellowship has a link to list in with your favorite boards, and every board has a link to show oldest messages first.
Is this new, or have Inot been paying attention before?
plaintiger: It worked fine when I hid you and then I unhid you!
All it said at the top in red was "settings changed". Try again?
It's not a board you're moderating, is it? That's when the posts are supposed to be grey
Walter Montego: I know a few, unfortunately, they are married. I married one. So I know they are out there! Just hard to find- but the men I know say the same about women....
wellywales: well you have to admit that Fencer's post does make sense..with more paying members, there will be more cash flow to add new cool features, right?
