This isn't a "discussion", I'm pointing out on the Brainking board a matter of concern to both members and management ie that one of their moderators is a loony.

Ugh, I will not re-post here what you have said in another board.
I will state that, in summary, your participation in the Gothic Chess discussions is punctuated by very long absences, returning only to engage in some "battle" that does not concern you.
What is so curious is that you have not played a single game of Gothic Chess, yet you make it your business to throw negative comments my way at every turn as soon as some precipitation of an argument starts to condense.
Your interest is then, therefore, by definition, purely belligerent.
As this is not the venue for this discussion as it did not involve nor impact BrainKing.com, I will leave off here.
I think all of you "martyrs" should petition Fencer via message rather than drone on incessantly about your own personal tragedy.
All my posts to the gothic board have been relevent and it requires a considerable degree of paranoia to interpret any as "inflammatory", I have certainly never started a "flame war", yet I have at least once been banned from posting.
there was no inflammatory remarks, except the ones initiated by the moderator.
to give people an:option" to either agree or disagree...then ban them for disagreeing..is wrong in any language.
GothicInventor has "warned" that I might be banned simply because I dont play gothic chess, this would be as ridiculous as banning from Debate Club anyone who hasn't fought in Iraq.
I really like the number next to the fellowship name since before I had 30 favourite boards, and 30 Fellowships (or around that number) - which was just taking up a lot of room since now I don't have to like the fellowshop board in my favourite list.
The only problem I have had so far is that I changed so only the red number come up for the board in my language (Option in Settings before someone asks) - which is English, but I forgot I'm in one fellowship which only has a czech board, so now I miss anything that is posted in there..... not that I could read most of them anyway so that is something i could live with. The rest is great!
BBW: I see. The message was generater by a buggy code and the fixed code [updated a while ago] cannot read the tournament ID from a correct field. Next messages should be okay.
However, I can fix this message of yours.
bwildman - Yea, I like that - you were banned because he brought up the subject, and you replied to it. (Not sure why he did not ban himself for bringing up the subject, but whatever - I stoped playing that game.)
--------
New (sligtly different bug)
had a message in my message box about a finished tournament, and like normal it said "null" for the name (known bug) - BUT NOW, When I click on the "null", it does NOT bring me to the correct tournament like it did in the past.
according to trice its not! is it just me,or is the gothic chess discussion board moderator spending alot of time talking to himself? perhaps its because if anyone disagrees with him he claims them to be argumentative and bans them from the public board?
if you take all your fellowships off the Favourite boards list (leave only the non fellowship boards like this one and possibly a few favourite other boards )
then on the section below in fellowships you have all fellowships , if there are any new messages click on the red number to take you straight there .
i think once you rearrange your boards you will like the new system better .
Speaking of that, I've implemented 8 levels of "banning" or "restrictions" for BK 2.0 :-) Alhough none of them has been ever used, they might come handy in the future.
Im not Banned anywhere at this particular moment unless you have other ideas of course ROFLMBO.....
what i am saying is..... and READ MY LIPS...some fellowships i have been invited to Im afraid to post to because all people that do seem to be "banned"
How can i have these in the background like i had before.....I regularly visit, but never speak.......HARD TO BELIEVE....but true :)
Fencer.....i DO visit them, but have found that if you post in some of these fellowships you are banned :)....Dont be naive dear, you know what and who i mean:) just ask some of our more prolific member posters ROFLMBO :)
ScarletRose Re: I as well as Rose.. have been trying to sneak into 17. November 2003, 16:26:45
"The Cave" for curiousity reasons.. and through numerous attemps have failed.. I decided a few short hours ago to try to change my profile to fool em.. and instantly it showed my account was banned from the fellowship.. I had changed my name from ScarletRose to Herman as well as other things in my profile to be disquised.. LOL
i do not like the way that "Favourite Boards and Fellowships" are being treated as one :(
meaning that my favourite board are JUST THAT and fellowships are just that....i dont like the red numbers beside all boards...some fellowships i never visit....is this a way to stop an over abundance of emeberships to boards :(
**EDIT** when i say that some fellowships i never visit...i actually mean i never post, and some for obvious reasons, cause as soon as you do they ban ya LOLOLOL
I just noticed you can accept, reject, or ban when somebody asks for an invite to your fellowship. The first 2 I can see what happens, but what about ban? Does that keep them from asking again to get in?
don't know if anyone has had this, i got some invites to some atomic games, from aaarghhh, this evening, and in the invites themselves i was unrated, but when the games kicked off my rating came back. i know my rating's been going downhill....the way it's going i might jump at the chance of being unrated soon :) aaarghhh's was there ok..
