?? i have looked through my profile and through the tournaments page at signed and waiting games but cant find a quarter of these (176) games is there a fault anywhere or have i got 176 games due to be added , if so i could do with finding them all to remove my name from a few .

I wonder Jason, if you signed for some tournaments that have since been deleted?
I dont know how that part of it all works...but if a tournament is deleted are all references and acceptances also deleted?

I believe the "+ ##" is for tournament that have been "Closed", but just not started yet.

So I'm sure the +176 is just a bug which Fencer should be able to fix once he see's the problem.

Has anyone else had games reappear, that they moved or finished earlier in the day already (time warp type of thing) ?

i've had a couple times where in backgammon I move my first piece in a turn, and then after the move the dice turn up from the previous move. I hit the back button to start the turn again, this ussually takes care of it :)

I have been having games re-appear steve.. but not finished ones...

maybe just the site hates me sooooo much then LOL

Yea, that's a known bug which happens every once and awhile. Once Fencer logs on, he can get it fixed. (You may also want to send him a message since sometimes he does not get a chance to read the message boards every day.)

When the subsequent rounds of a tournament get underway, are the most recent ratings used to sort the section participants?

It appears that from the $250 tournament that the original ratings used when it first began are being used to sort the seeds for the second round.

Is this the case?

when i click on the tournament it closes on 17th March 2004 at 00.00.00 time :(
is this a bug? or am i doing something wrong?

Bernice: I cannot swear on it but it's possible that the time is either converted to GMT+01:00 or shifted for your local time zone.
I will look at the source code when I get rid of flu.

The time does change. When setting up a tournament, I usually have it set to close at 8pm eastern US... When I look at it later, it is about 6 hours different. (earlier, I believe). So it seems to switch it to 8pm Czech time, or 2 or 3pm Eastern US time.
