Argomento: Re: okay, here is a story I heard today...
Czuch: the only reason I agree with you is that every time I disagree with someone in here, my posts either get deleted or changed to fit the "particular persons" ideas of what is right and what is wrong.
Argomento: Re: okay, here is a story I heard today...
Czuch: only her "bits and pieces" have changed...her ability to run, play etc is still female ability....let her/him play with the girls.....might get hurt playing with the boys LOL.... I agree with you tho...born a girl, play with the girls. Testosterone don't count.
Argomento: But 99 weeks of unemployment compensation is WAY beyond reasonable.
99 weeks?
gosh that isnt very long...there are those in the UK and other countries that have collected a benefit from their Govts. for years and years. 3 names of employers, and signed byt them are all that is needed for another 2 weeks benefit.
Some are born into poverty and just follow on from their parents/grandparents, because there is no work ethic, and they are a bludge on society.
I wish the UK, Aust etc would do what the USA does, and MAKE it hard for them to live on ""hand-outs""
but our PM has the guts to stand up and say what the majority of Australians would like to say....
'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It.
I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '
'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'
'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'
'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'
'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'
ScarletRose: went to do my weekly grocery shop this AM and there were nothing on the shelves at the supermarket.....hardly any vegies/fruit and the groceries are running a bit thin....road and rail is closed so no deliveries and becasue all our stuff comes from down sth we suffer that way :(
ScarletRose: thanks for aking....we were flooded in on Xmas day and nth of us is still badly flooded and sth of us is in a terrible way....they are saying another 2 weeks before the evacuees will be able to go back to their homes which are currently under water. We had a terrible storm last night which doesnt affect us but goes into the catchment areas which are already over full and causing all the flooding sth of us.
I hear on the news this morning where China has increased its military power massively and they say it is unsettling the region...Korea is the problem, they are very volatile. We were brought up to the following slogan..."Beware the yellow peril" It wont happen in my lifetime but it will happen
(V): Please read what you post before you post it....again your google has let you down....that article is dated August 2007...stop living in the past.
And 1 million brits did emigrate to Aus because they were sick and tired of being in a country that was so poor, there was no work, and the country was still in a mess from the 2nd world war....they came to a land of milk and honey, as did a lot of germans. They had the choice of australia or canada....I dont know how many went to Canada
Übergeek 바둑이: you of course are right and it only shows up the P... Poor security systems that are in place. and when encryption keys (whatever they are LOL) are released it will be too bad...thanksfully the bottom isnt going to fall out of the world in my time (well no more than it has now)....god help my great grand kids.
Artful Dodger: as I said below in reference to the USA...the truth hurts, well it looks as tho it hurts others as well don't it...too bad, I hope he keeps it up.....we have a saying here in Govt...."Keep the bastards honest" 'praps this can also apply to others ROFL.
Artful Dodger: **i THINK HE'LL GO TO FAR ETC ETC""....why has it taken so long for everyone to start screaming about all this.... as I said below, if it wasn't for the "sexual" charges it would have just gone on as it was, and if it is so easy for people to get the US secrets and disclose them, doncha think you should be looking at your own security?
Artful Dodger: I agree with you regards "mentality"....procrastination is a killer and can ruin lot so things, but in this case it saved BinLadens life.....they say "he who hesitates is lost" but is that really true because BinLaden is now lost (to the USA) hahahaha
anyway...COS = guess LOL
Julian Assange was offered an opportunity and took it....made a lot of money and if he hadn't been accused of "sexual misfavours" then all this hoohah wouldnt have happened...
rod03801: **what has that got to do with (V)'s etc etc.***....nothing.
as you say...he is an enemy, but only because he is disclosing "stuff" that you lot don't want disclosed. they say the truth hurts,...it must do because of all the jumping up and down you are doing hahahahaha
Artful Dodger: hmmmmmmm....I better start thinking then ROFLMBO....don't want to be thought not to be thinking....but was there such a word as "terrorist" as it is used today, then? Would he have been called that?
Artful Dodger: all our maintenance is done off-shore.....cheap labour.....and what price is a life....people were more than a little angry ....the plane was taxiing the runway and the passengers could here the engine making all sorts of funny noises....too scary. On the other hand THE A380 took off for London 15 minutes earlier with the CEO of Qantas on board.
Artful Dodger: ANOTHER Qantas jet engine failure....747-400 engine failure on take off...Singapore, Heathrow had to be abandoned last night and will take off in about 1/2 hour from Sydney....I wouldn't fly Qantas for all the (T) in china as I said in a post further down the page.
Artful Dodger: the horror stories of airport embarrassments are terrible.
My daughter has lost all her hair due to something I can't even pronounce let alone remember thename of. She wears a wig. When she was leaving here after a holiday with me the fact that she wore a wig showed up in the xrays she was given....she was pulled back and questioned...she was then told to remove her wig so they could see if she had nothing or something to hide...she asked to be taken to a separate room so she wouldnt be embarrassed in front of 100's of people...they refused and she had to remove it. I wasn't impressed and queried the actions of staff to be told she could have been a terrorist. I might add she is a tiny wee thing (4ft 10in) and weighs 37kilos.(about 80 odd lbs)...she is smaller than a lot of young kids :(....we just had to wear it I'm afraid

to the person who sent me via PM this post......DONT....I have people on hide because I dont want to see what useless information they are about to impart.....but having said that I now have to reply
***I dont think (re the A380) that Rolls Royce use cheap labour****....nothing was said about RollsRoyce using cheap labour...in fact nothing was said about Rolls Royce.
QANTAS (note the spelling) gets the majority of maintenance done OFF-SHORE using CHEAP labour...ie people who work for peanuts therefore dont give a damn if the repairs are done correctly or not. OFF-SHORE means - not on australian shores.
Argomento: Re:You haven"t done your research correctly/properly once again.
(V): you didn't do your research properly is all....you used the words fatality and teething...not I......the lack of good australian maintenance people instead of cheap O/seas labour is the problem.....do your research......AGAIN
at the moment I wouldnt fly qantas for all the tea in china (there is no T in china) and in the past have always flown qantas both at home and abroad, and im not on my own saying this
Argomento: Re:that is what is going on, and as far as the technical methods, it didn't work 3 weeks ago, it took a tip to stop at least 2 bombs,
(V): they were not teething problems, you are talking the A380....what about the 3-4 747's that had to have a turn-around because of engine problems in the ensuing days (different engines/different planes)....it is maintenance problems as all the work is done off-shore. You haven"t done your research correctly/properly once again.
