Do you miss something on BrainKing.com and would you like to see it here? Post your request into this board! If there is a more specific board for the request, (i.e. game rule changes etc) then it should be posted and discussed on that specific board.
grenv: more than likely someone has paid for your membership, it has happened often to people here, and after 8 years, you probably have someone who enjoys your company enough to upgrade you
grenv: The reason is that without the possibility for a pawn to edit (or in other words get rid of the evidence), there is a less likely chance that a paying member will create a pawn account to make a post that they wouldn't as a paying member as it could result in a ban on their paid membership
Undertaker.: there is a reason for not being capable to edit post for pawns, and if a pawn wants it edited/deleted, they can have a moderator do it for them
Carl: because I've paid to actually. you know, play the game. seriously, I have played with auto pass and I do not like it when a game comes back to me after 20 passed moves and I don't recognize it
Czuch: one way of accomplishing that is to hit the back button after posting your message, then the red new message tag will still be there and you should be in the same spot of the page you were at
rabbitoid: total, that will tell me how much activity there is without having to click on the poker table list, it is already broken down into each table at the poker table list
Argomento: Re: Fencer's business strategy (not Mad Monkey)
mctrivia: If you will notice neither you nor anyone else in this discussion has been banned or threatened of it. The banning was because of an ongoing flagrant abuse of guideline #3 of the discussion board user agreement
Undertaker.: that can be an extremely volatile subject and hard to monitor so it is probably best left to fellowships like this one http://brainking.com/en/Board?bc=2056 you can always invite others that you wish to discuss with
Argomento: Re: An old request being brought up again
Gordon Shumway: just curious, how would you sort the ratings,? I mean a pond that starts with 150 points is a completely different game than we have now
Czuch: if they use their highest card they would have a more likely chance of winning that round, losing their low card virtuly guaranties losing that round
coan.net: I would suggest that timed out players would have their lowest remaining card played so that they lose any advantage, also I would suggest that their be a field next to each player showing which cards have been discarded sinse the game would be too long to possibly use your memory as to what cards have been played
joshi tm: thats nice to know, but it would still be nice to know how the score got to be the way it is without having to click each individual game and figuring it out
Right now in a multi-point or game match, after the first game, the results of prior games are shown before a move, (I am talking about backgammon) with the headings- game #, white, black, result. Could an additional statistic be added at the end entitled points earned? right now you have to go back to each individual game and calculate it yourself. I ask because I am trying to get a grasp on scoring in cloning backgammon
When you play dice poker at home, you do not have the other persons score sitting right next to yours to get confused with,it is taking the fun out of the game
rednaz23: go into the edit for that board and change the name to a period, then change who can read and post to king, all that will be left is a " . " that most people will never find and if they do they cannot go to the page anyway, but you know it is there in case you want to start it up again someday
Daniel Snyder: the only way to have a high rating in ponds is to play quite a few and finish high in most of them. I am not saying your request is a bad one, I would like to see settings on the ratings also but it's not easy getting some of the ponds to start as it is
