Nuno Miguel: Don´t count on that... Peseiro is going to be two more years on Sporting. What a disgrace...
Rafa is one of the best coaches. After winning the Uefa Cup with Valencia, won the League Champs with Liverpool... Mourinho and Rafa had the same school...
just one more thing: what a lesson on football tacticts gave Rafa to Ancelotti...
by the way André, what do you think Ancelotti for the next coach of Sporting? he can loose the championship and a UEFA cup in a few days too...
:)))))))))
danoschek: Agree, Dano..was fun to see (i only watched the extra time) my old favorites Liverpool win. I think Jerzy Dudek will remember this game for a long time :)
bumble: ah! thats why i thought i had missed the winner ... it isnt finished yet :)
thanks!
hmm ... i have no favourite in those 2 finalists i guess :)
(patriotic thinking should make me want the one who beat psv to lose i guess ... or should i want that one to win .. so psv only lost to the champion .. hmm tough one ... i dont mind who wins i guess ;))
The Champions League is a competition between the league winners (and the other top teams) from each European country.
This season's final, between Liverpool and AC Milan is tonight.
I would like to say well done to Arsenal on winning the FA Cup final (5-4 on penalties).
Even as a supporter i have to admit we did not really deserve to win the game, BUT at the end of the day you have to score goals to win, and they scored 5 LOL..............
He is just one piece of the sucess. He have chosen well the players (as usual).
Just look at Porto last year, and this year. Last year won everything. This year, spent even more money on players, and lost everything (or almost, as the portuguese league only ends next Saturday).
Players like Derlei, Maniche, Costinha, Nuno Valente, just become ordinary players withou Mourinho. How do you explain that?

Pedro Martínez: He chose the wrong profession then I guess. Should've been a pope, or at least a healer. I'd pay him hundreds to transfer my "pressures" to him.
Pedro Martínez: Yes ..its scary what power that "guru" has.
The success Chelsea has has nothing to do with his ability, anyone could create a good team with those money.
Pedro Martínez: yep, not mine. Mourinho is the best in his job. He is one person when he is working, and another in leisure time. He transfers all pression from the players to him. And he handles well with this pression...

Well, it usually does not happen that one of the teams that made it to the finals had the advantage of playing at their own pitch. The place where the final match will be played is determined before the season starts, so even if AZ had defeated Sporting, they would still have played CSKA in Lisbon.
Hrqls: I didnt see the game, they dont show UEFA cup in USA :( but from what ive read Sporting had their chances but in second half CSKA took over, fair or not can always be discussed :)
can always blame the referee
2. I agree, i think its silly too that the final is one game only
Andersp: i have only watched a few minutes (during the commercial breaks in a movie) of the match ... from what i heard from the comments during the match sporting was in charge all the time ? ... sad to lose a game that way .. i can understand the frustration .... congrats to CSKA though! well played and well done with the possibilities given! :)
question : i expected this to be a 2 game match as well .. out as well as at home .. why isnt this done for the finals as well as it was for the matches before it ?
Andersp: But Peseiro win the most wanted award: The greatest dumb coach in the world... In 4 days he lost the portuguese champ and the Uefa Cup, with completely stupid tactics.

Hrqls: We remember too well the death of Miklas Feher last year. Everybody was watching the game in television (Benfica-Guimarães), and suddenly he fell off and died. The camera was pointing to him and showed him felling off with a smile in his face and the other players trying to reanimate him. He was hungarian, but supporters from all clubs, including the rivals Porto and Sporting went to Benfica´s stadium to give one last homage to this kid. It was very sad... Just some months later another Benfica´s player, with 18 years, died just after the match.
Andre Faria:I never liked that bastard...He sounded like a Brazilian when he commented the games, and when a team scored he played Samba!
I ask!WHAT THE HELL IS THIS???IS THIS GUY STUPID OR SOMETHING????<7b>
Anyway sports jornalism is better off without people pretending they're Brazilians jornalists, who are obese have high blood pressure and a bad sick heart...but most of all I tha Samba stuff he played, real cheap and poor nas it smells bad.
SEE YOU IN HELL,PALHAÇO!
sporting can be dangerous ... my uncle (lived in new zealand) played football (or soccer, i dont remember, its 15 yars ago) ... he scored ... screamed with joy .. fell down on the field .. and didnt move again ... people thought he made a joke (including his wife) .. as he often did ... but after some time it seemed it was for real .. a heart attack as well .. after that all his brothers had to go to the hospital for heart exams
