Backoff: any pics of the progress? and is it a show restore, or a drive restore? it would be shame to not drive one like that!

Stevie: are we the only two on this site that actually do something in the performance world, and not just drool over pics and specs of what everyone else is doing? not meant to get on anyone, but it would be nice to hear about what anyone else is doing!

Stevie: he managed to get a "little" loose off the 4rth turn, found the concrete wall on the front-stretch (rims,tire and flattened right side of car) was trying to get to the pits (pit entrance is off of turn 2) another car was trying to pass him on the outside, he got clipped and fount the inside wall on turn 2! that got the front end of the car! you have toi remember that he's driving in a class that is only kids! it was his first wreck! lol i hope it's his last! he did manage to drive it back to the pits! or should i say limp it back!

Backoff: closer to a porta-power and a welder! lol and we need to throw in a couple of rims and a tire too!

and don't forget the right equipment! the front-loop gave instead of the driver giving! kinda like the crush-zones the engineers design! if i was racing for points this year, we coulda made it drivable tonight!

he's fine, the car will be! no worries! just the result of a 14yr old feeling his oats! lol i guess it's better on the track than in his moms' car on the street in a coulpe of years!

i got 11th out of 26! not too bad considering the top 15 were nose to tail the whole race! jeremy got 10th out of 15 in the bandits(thats kids from 11 to 15 yrs old in full race cars) he'd never even driven a go-kart before! the kid did awesome! for those of you who know who D is, send him a congrats through her! he'll love it!

Stevie: lol, i've been trying to tell the guys for years, that you can make a million hp, but if you don't put it on the ground. all you're gonna do is make noise and smoke!!

stevie, yes i race on the ovals, both mud and real ones! lol i started out on the dirt tracks up here in the fingerlakes of ny, switched to pavement 2 yrs ago, partly for a change of pace and partly because of the nascar sanction at the track!! everyone wants to drive nascar!!! i've done it!(in a way) lol i won the track championship in 2003, i own the car that won it in 2004!!! it was fun but way too much work! i'm taking it easy this year and have no plans on getting into a points chase! i also have picked up a junior driver( we have a class just for the kids from 12 to 15) you probably know his mom, i know bwild does! lol MidnightMcMedic not too sure if she'll kill me for telling everyone i know her or not, but i'm feeling adventurous today! lol it should be a fun summer! I'm going to try and get her into the car for a couple of powder-puff races too! (ladies only, no current or past drivers)

hey bwild, you know i build and drive some of them there race cars! i have a couple of 4-cylinder stocks that i race! i just try not to look too stupid doing it! lol

i'd like to get in on your discussions, i may even know a little about some things on here! lol
