i think BBW means 4 or less moves ? .I had to think about that myself wasnt very clear ;)

cole , every one starts with a set rating 1300 i belive, your first 4 games makes this rating go up or down depending on how many wins and your opponents bkr
(your rating are just not shown untill 4 rated games are played)

what happens is that some people (maybe without even knowing) moves one of the pieces and then cant move another ,but if it was made to know that two moves are available (either via the swop...or moving a differnt piece first) .. what tends to happen sometimes is that some players will move only one piece so they dont leave any open , (which you can do ..wether it is right or wrong ) .if you roll a six and a two ,you have to use the highest dice possible .

lol, fencer said that , i was wondering what would happen to all the tournaments that were due to start after the swop .. people wouldnt want to lose them .

what would happen to the tournaments already there (not due to start ect) will they still be safe to start afterwards

this was sugessted a long time ago fencer , you said then that you couldnt split it from non members to the paying members .

every site i play on all has differnt ways of doing the ratings , some based on bkr or just a winning percentage , one i like is if you win you can get a maximum of 16 points for a win , or 16 points(maximum) taken away for a loss , all depends on the opponents rating as to how much taken away or gained . (this could be simmilar to here not sure never managed to work it out here ,).
i think what Chessmaster1000 wanted to know was that if the same method was used for all types of games on here .

out of that 1,400 only 295 was paying members

mrloupcity , play at your own speed ,fast or slow there is no need to race to get a game finished ..they finish when they finish , if people complain about you moving slow it is THEM that is in the wrong tournaments not you

i have some games that have been running almost 14 months now and could take at least another 6 months lol ...... im a speed player when i get my finger out but there are days when i dont feel like it .
you cant make everyone happy lol

yes you can see your ratings there (but when i click on profiles its slow to load up ) also you cannot see your position ... looks like well have to wait to get it back on the main page (for us lazy ones ;)

i for one miss the table on the main page , its hard to see a differnce in my bkrs (im too lazy to look on the ratings page)

?? i have looked through my profile and through the tournaments page at signed and waiting games but cant find a quarter of these (176) games is there a fault anywhere or have i got 176 games due to be added , if so i could do with finding them all to remove my name from a few .

i think the idea was not to display there ratings , they would still have one but they couldnt see it unless they paid membership

whats the point in creating another fellowship for donations ? there is allready a donations page on this site ... also anyone who didnt join would feel left out

niki if you can download the spybot (http://spybot.safer-networking.de/) this could help you .

i actually sorted mine out i did a search with the spybot programme and deleted all the rubbish . its been ok since for me ...it was puzzling at the time though .

hmmm stange then really , i already got spybot running and ad,stop , will do a scan ...still not sure how it could create this link lol

no i meam where it says total number of your GAMES the game bit is linkable not all the time though and goes through to some sort of search page ... im mainly mentioning it incase someone has managed to hack into fencers system .

i personally dont mind who is a moderator of a board whether its a pawn or not , if someone has the time and willing to put some effort into it that should be a good thing . i wouldnt like to do it myself though i wouldnt be calm enough when people tried to spoil things .

no madmokey , i have seen differnt , one player is still waiting for another round to start and have just started another tourney . , im mainly letting fencer know that his programme might have a bug (ie)letting pwns sign up for more than one tournament

how is it that pawns can play in more than one tournament ? when they are still in other tournaments to goto another round ect ? . i have noticed this on a few occasions . if they can do this they dont have a need to upgrade

so if im playing someone in a tournament ect that is around the same bkr , would i still have to accept a challenge from someone else ?
