I signed up for the Open Fevga Championship recently. At that time, there was a message about being careful not to exceed my allowed 20 games as a Brain Pawn. It said for a tournament of this type, I should leave at least 10 open game slots to avoid having the system delete some of my games for being over the limit.

I made sure that I had at least that many slots open when the tournament started. I fact I think I had 11 open slots. Now that all of the tournament games have started, I have a total of 29 games running. Am I in danger of having the system zing me for beng over the limit, or is a Brain Pawn allowed one tournament, even if it gives him over 20 running games?

badgerboy78: I tend to keep a tab with BrainKing open all the time, and after a while (usually a few weeks) that starts to happen. If I close the tab and open a new one, the problem disappears.

DeaD man WalkiN: yes, 5 points for hitting the last frog + bonus 2 points for winning + 1 point for each frog not found. This is why I play aggressive, because I know I can have 2 misses and still win the game. If you missed a guess, then I can have 3 misses. In the game, there were only 2 possible spots for your frog, so I was able to take an early guess without risk and hopefully win earlier.

DeaD man WalkiN: If I recall correctly, this is the bonus for hitting the last frog. It looks like it exists so that players can risk playing aggressively and still be able to win the game.

the score is them 14 me 20. they hit my last frog and gets 8 points for it. Then Y do we get 5 points for every frog hit.

Wow I just read the board!  People chill out!  Brainking is the best boardgame site compared to others I have seen.  Pay for a membership if you like what it offers, if you want to play as a pawn play as a pawn.  This is fencers site, he can do what he wishes with his site.  I probably play most of you as I play a lot and have been here a long time, and have made many friends here.  For 2016 can we just be happy.  Wishing everyone a happy New Year.

Brian1971: Okay if you say you have new things to deal with next year including health issues. So I have to respect your decision. But you won't lose face with me if you should decide to take my offer up of staying in Brainking as a paid member. I know I hate being limited in games sites if I am not a paid member.

crosseyed: Again thanks for the offer. In the new year I have lots of stuff to do to try to fix my health issues if possible. I am seeing 2 specialists in January for an ultrasound blood flow exam and another for kidney trauma. Most likely getting a toe amputation early in the year as well. I am also taking on a church council spot in February and I will be the financial secretary. So I will have plenty help fill the void of not being a member in 2016. There are more important things than brainking. I lost sight of this temporarily. So things are good.
