TY for posting the link. The discussion boards here are still difficult to read, etc. I have no problems reading/posting/linking at other boards like Bug Cafe.
ive created 2 prize tournaments both for 6 month rook membership to the winners they will start on Dec 31st at the same time the one in the main tournament area is a private one so if you want an invite send me a message
coan.net: Funny this should be mentioned, i was going to create one for Dec 21, 2012 as thats when the world will end (well so the Mayan's say lol).
If you have no idea what i am on about, HERE is the 2012 homepage, but just try searching Google, you will find out lots. Of course they recently made a film about the Skulls, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, though not seen that so can't comment on it
OH, all happens in 4 years, 181 days if anyone's interested
Snoopy: sphere froglet in that tournament only needs one more person to start. Any takers??? I hope a pawn didn't sign up as one of the seven and has been waiting patiently to commence their first tournament :)
panathaole2003: and i know this has been said before lower the time limit on tournament excess days i mean everyone knows that the tournament with -218 days on it is never going to start so why do we have to put up with it until the 18th November
I don't really mind tournaments being created far in advance... since you might want to have a "BIG" New Year 2009 tournament and is nice to start trying to get people to sign up now. (and easy enough to not go to the "next" tab on the tournament page)
I would like to see the "past due" time that is currently set to 30 days dropped to 7 days. By 7 days past the deadline, the tournament create could always change the start date to something not past-due if they don't want it deleted. To see almost the first whole page of past-due tournaments is a pain in my opinion. 7 days is plenty of time.
As a person who has at times made many tournaments at once, I would be OK with a limit of tournaments one can create as long as that limit was something like 20 or 25 - since I could easily make 20 "fast start" tournaments today, and by tomorrow 75% of them will be running
Snoopy: I think both suggestions are good, esp. if you think that there are some tournaments which time limit has been overpassed by months and are still waiting for players to fill in empty slots...
Does anyone besides me find it frustrating to see 941 tournaments, and when you check the list its tournaments over 500 created until start dates of next year by one person, I think there should be a limit on how many days in advance you can post a tournament I mean do I really need to know today that there might be a tournament next year
