Spetsnaz - a name that has become synonymous for Electronic Body Music in its purest incarnation. Swedish Electro / EBM duo Pontus Stålberg and Stefan Nilsson are back ! Armed with increased musical firepower they take the EBM world by storm on Brand New album "Totalitar" - a musical firestorm of stomping hard beats and brutal sequencer loops. Each beat and each note fits tightly in its place, the rhythms lash brutally, the sequencers push mercilessly with all unnecessary ornamentation discarded in favour of melody and rhythm. The scene has been eagerly awaiting a new long player of these saviours of the classic EBM sound now, finally, their call has been heeded and "Totalitär" delivers 13 excellent EBM hits : high class, pure energy aggressive dance music, tunes to sweat to, electronic steam hammers overflowing with emotions and power.
March 24th 2006 sees the return of Belgian Electro / Industrial legend Suicide Commando with Brand New album "Bind, Torture, Kill". Set to once again infiltrate dark dancefloors worlwide with his unique mixture of detonating beats, incendiary synth-lines, pummeling rhythms and scathing vocal assaults Johan Van Roy has crafted yet another hard / melodic masterpiece of industrial strength mayhem. Delivering 11 Brand New tracks of ubiquitous Suicide Commando electro-devastation "Bind, Torture, Kill" includes a remix version of recent single "Godsend" plus SC's cover-version of the Tommy Stumpff classic "Massaker". Accept no substitute !
One of the true icons and longest standing exponents of the Electro / Industrial scene, Wumpscut is back ! Returning for more bombastic electro / industrial as only Rudy R knows how, Brand New album "Cannibal Anthem" features the new single "Jesus Antichristus" together with 10 new tracks of patented Wumpscut hard-electro-soundscapes : from pumping dancefloor workouts to steel edged anthems and much more...Dark, disturbing and as raw as ever, "Cannibal Anthem" delivers a new era in Wumpscut's long and illustrious career.
Finally, the time has come ! Immediately after the release of the "Out of Line Festival" DVD ( which included some live clips of Hocico ) fans started to feverishly demand the release of a complete show from the legendary Mexican Harsh Electro duo. Little wonder, as the Hardfloor-Electro pioneers enjoy the reputation of being one of the best live bands in the scene ( on CD, Hocico's music obviously lacks the visual component and impact of a frenetic Erk Aicrag, drenched in sweat, giving his very last bit of energy as if his life were depending on it ). On March 10th 2006, the first Hocico DVD, aptly titled "A Través De Mundos Que Arden" ( "Through Worlds That Burn" ) will finally see the light of day - Erk and Racso have been extremely busy putting together a massive collection of Exclusive Material, Bonus Interviews and Unreleased live shows on what must be the definitive collection of Hocico material for their ravenous fans. The DVD not only features a complete recording of the group's show at the M'Era Luna Festival in 2005 ( presented in superior picture and audio quality ) but also a very impressive array of Bonus material : different live recordings across the planet, rare behind-the-scenes snippets and documentaries, TV-performances, short films, the group's live projections, interviews and the rare and sought after animated video clip to "Born to be ( Hated )". Finally the vivid destructive energy of a Hocico live performance can finally be relived within the confines of one's own four walls ! An essential feast for fans and those that wish to become captivated by the electronic madness of the Mexican legends .. because the phenomenon of Hocico can only be fully grasped when experienced live.

Refuting the rumour of a possible break-up ( following "Farewell" and "The Best Of" releases ) Goth / Darkwave legends Clan Of Xymox are back with "Breaking Point" : possibly their most perfectly blended album yet. Featuring searing guitar lines, strong bass sounds mixed with atmospheric and powerful synths and Ronny Mooring's deep, sensuous and harmonic voice it delivers all of Xymox's trademark sounds and references offered in their iconic and unique style. This 'classic' sound is no more evident than on album opener and first single "Weak In My Knees" - a club hit par excellence : mighty tunes, powerful chorus line, a perfect sing-a-long melody which catches the listener in an instant. The following track "Calling You Out" shows them from their darker, even more aggressive side with straight guitar lines and no compromises, while "She's Dangerous" is yet another dancefloor hit - complete with infectious synth lines, driving rhythms and a permenant hook. "Eternally", "We Never Learn" and "Cynara" are songs that will capture the hearts of their older fans immediately - quiet, almost introspective, slow, thoughtful and eternal. "Be My Friend" presents another powerful club hit while album closers "Pandora's Box" - forms an interlude into the aggressive song "Under The Wire" ( a track that demonstrates perfectly the rockier side of Clan Of Xymox ) and finally "What's Going On" a melodic masterpiece that demands replaying.
Nirvana: thats it
a sweet playing guitar.
I picked up a Crate CA30D acoustic amp to jam with...a mind blowing combination.
I am glad you posted that site...I need a hard case(it came with a cheesy gig bag) and that site has some reasonable prices.
baddessi you gotta come here to play it.
baddessi: the CA30D was designed specificly for acoustic/elec guitars. its 2 channel with seperate gains,9 effects with level, low, mid, contour, and high adjustments, with line out for plugging into a PA, and insert for even more effects.
Believe it or not...I went into the music store to look at cases and to buy a strap...walked out with this amp, strap, guitar stand, and music stand. LOL
Kipling: I believe it...I can't leave one of those places without dropping at least $50-$100 just going in to grap some picks or strings or something...and end up with all kinds of thing I never knew I always wanted!
Thanks for telling me about the amp- and thanks for the links Nirvana.
And you can remember all those songs...like riding a bike- once you get going, you won't be able to stop

there is new artist named "Cowboy Troy". He does this Country-HipHop crossover that he calls 'hick-hop' (lol!)
At any rate, he has the one song that I think is awesome. Not only does it have a great melody, but the message is important too. (a ballad, by the way)
he has the video on his site. Take a look at it. The song is "If you don't wanna love me"
