General talk about movies, TV, radio, and other entertainment discussion.
Discussing favorite movies is a great topic but keep in mind some folks haven't seen the movie yet we may be discussing so don't give the endings away!

Jim Dandy: Wow, Dandy-Pie. Do you think it was colorized? WAS there color film then? Or do you think someone colorized it before it was posted on YouTube? That's pretty amazing indeed.
件名: Re: This is in my opinion the best made for tv movie ever
Jim Dandy: I never saw that movie. A friend of mine saw it, and it changed him....a lot. Maybe I SHOULD rent it and watch it. Maybe with a friend. The reasons given for the suggestion I not see it was the highly emotional content. I see from that clip what they meant.
On the Music Board tonight, we are having an impromptu theme night which will be favorite TV and Movie theme songs. Some of us are taking liberties with the theme song idea, pulling music from other parts of movies and sharing those. It promises to be a lot of fun, and would be more fun if you would join us.
Tuesday: Wouldn't it be nice? What I think about all these celebrities getting in trouble, and not paying the price is what pandemonium we would have if EVERYBODY had that "right".
Tuesday: That may be, but you know, nothing about him is ever a sure shot. We shall wait and see. I think he was picked up, that's arrested. But, he hasn't been booked, and that might be what I heard this morning. I remember them saying he said he had apologized to the guy, and after I quit laughing (as if that would make a robbery at gunpoint all OK), the full impact of the whole thing hit me.
Tuesday: I heard this morning on NPR he already had walked, that he apologized to the guy. The guy said it was no big deal, there was no weapon, so they let him go.
AOL News reported an hour ago that Simpson still hasn't been booked. They are tracking down the details.
in the theatre is a MUST. But, I'm not waiting in line, no way. I applaud the good sense of those of us who aren't there with our liter of Pepsi and lawn chairs. It's just not class, you know?
However, I DID listen to Devils & Dust (Bruce Springsteen) last night, and decided it was worth buying. If for no other reason, it needs to be beside the rest of my Springsteen acousticals.
Rose: Nooooooooo! Now, he was a part of my life, as was Sky King. I watched it every week until we left for overseas. When we got back, it wasn't on the air anymore. Thank you for the review, Skyking. And, you're right, the first time I saw you online, I thought of the show, and it's in my mind to stay, I guess.
Maybe we should think of another Indian name for you.
I watched Last Tango in Paris last night. I'd never seen it before. 1972 was one of my depressed times.....haha! I'd just gotten married a couple of years before. That was a great movie. And, it was nice to see why all the women panted in the lines to [EDIT] Brando's (named the wrong model) movies.
I also liked Pirates, and I also was surprised that I did. Johnny Depp gets my vote for cutest. He's just got that "bad-boy" look down pat!
[EDIT]: Right, BBW. Rose would have to take it up with Fencer since this is a public board. But, I don't see a problem with it myself. And, radio has some good stuff, especially NPR here in the states. I'd be interested to hear more about radio in other countries. As most of you know, I'm a music fan, and I've been really enjoying OnionRiver Radio online. If you like eclectic, give it a try!! It's free, and no download. Not many commercials, either. I guess this is technically off-topic here, but if we widen the theme it would fit right in.
Yeah, it's some of the risque jokes. Three of us saw it together, two of us have never had kids, one had, and has grandchildren (she's not a friend of mine, of course, I'm too young to know grandmothers) and we all agreed it couldn't be considered an across-the-board children's film. But, some parents' tolerence is lower than others. [EDIT: Just a heads up, that's all. I LOVED the film myself.] It's certainly your choice, but I'm not taking any kids to see it. Haha! I'm not taking any kids anywhere.
