Gordon Shumway:Thanks for the reply. No it's not hidden. I already checked that. And I did what you said, running explorer and stuff, and it didn't work.
NOT a floosie:Look, just when the PC starts up, when it says press DEL, do it and it should say something like "entering setup mode." There, on my PC I have a choice saying "PC health status" and when I enter on it, it says CPU warning temperature. Enter on it and it gives you some choices to choose from. Choose something like 70 or 80 degrees, or even disable the CPU warning system.
NOT a floosie:Yeah, press DEL and then you'll go to a page which is usually red or blue in most cases. Then examin all the parts of it to find something that says your PC is supposed to warn you if the CPU temperature goes upper than a ceratin degree. That temperature shouldn't normally be less than 70 degrees.
Marfitalu:Also, it may be because in her bios it's already set a high level of security or health for PC. For example they have chosen the CPU temperature to be 30 degrees o up for the PC to warn them. She definitaly has to look in the bios.
Rose:If you're using XP, try creating a checkpoint now, when done, try using one of your previous checkpoints that your windows creates and restore your windows to a day or two before today. If things are O.K., then the problem is with what you have downloaded, if not, they have other source.
I'm using Firefox. When I view a picture an dthen choose for it to be saved on my hard drive, it follows all the necessary process but doesn't actually download anything when I go and check my hard drive! It doesn't give any errors or anything. Can someone tell me what's going on?
MadMonkey:When you reboot your system, after it starts press Delete and check if your motherboard knows your Hard drives as well. Jumpers alone won't work. I could tell you where exactly to look, but it's different on different moterboard systems. Press delete and check everywhere and you'll find it. It says that your primary slave is a hard disk an dsecondary slave should also be the other hard disk.
imsoaddicted:And none of them works? Then the only thing that comes to my mind is that the port they get into to get attached to the back of your case has some problem with it. Are they using USB ports? If yes, try changing the port and see what happens.
