Walter Montego: I think we've got our wires crossed... or more likely I got something wrong!
I advised you to join Medics moderator fellowship for discussion on moderating, how its done etc. But thats for moderators only.
Eriisas fellowship is for discussion about Bumble, and as far as I know anyone is welcome.

Emne: Re:
harley: So that's it? I'm not a moderator? Then you agree that I'm right. It's a fellowship. I've seen changes made to the guidelines of discussion boards. Why not change that one or make an exception? I'm willing to bet that she didn't read the posts and you didn't mention it to her. Or if you both did, you decided to just stick with your guidelines rather have a debate in the fellowship. And why is Bumble in this fellowship? What board does he moderate?

Fencer: The subject might be off topic on this board, but where may it be talked about in a public forum? The General Chat discussion board seems like an ideal place, but there's different moderators there and they delete all the posts about the subject. I'd like to talk about on some discussion board, but I guess that's not happening. Can you just say the subject is to never be discussed on your site in a public forum ever again? Or could you direct those of us that want to talk about it to a place we can for everyone on the site and the moderators are told not to take sides and only censor swear words and racial epitats?

Fencer: I know you are busy, but please try to keep up! ;)~

The issue is a global moderator who did public interviews and who was responsible for moderating all public boards and who was responsible for allowing others to moderate public boards was announced to be dead, yet there is anecdotal evidence that he is alive, and he cheated by using multi niks, and he continues to do so today.

BrainKing has nothing to do with Yahoo groups or similar things and I am already too tired to read everything what was posted here. I will not tolerate any more flamewars and offtopics here. This is a message to everyone.

Emne: Re:
harley: What has being a moderator got to do with joining a fellowship? If that's the problem and an exception can't be made in my case, then I certainly want no part of that fellowship.

I've been to that yahoo group and do check it on occasion. It's activity level has slowed considerably in the last few weeks. Some people have posted about changing their opinion of Bumble and a few are still waiting for something definitive, but it's more or less what was deleted from this site in the early going of the whole contraversy.

As for yours and other moderator's resistance to the affair and the posting of it on this site, I have yet to see what it is that is the problem. I'm not going to waste my time posting about it on this site until I have guarantees that my posts won't be deleted. Time does heal wounds and the sweeping it under the carpet is working. Those that critized me for doubting haven't apologized or brought up any proof of anything. Czuch is hitting his head on the wall, regardless of the merits of his questions.

And where's Fencer in all of this? Why have so many of the moderators taken the view that it should not be talked about? I find it hard to believe that there's unanimity amongst such a supposedly diverse group of individuals.
Why don't you make yourself a moderator of the General Chat board. You have my support.

You want this swept under the rug, my advice is to allow it to run its course, it will make it disappear a lot faster than censorship will! Or maybe you dont want Pedro to remove the board from his favorites list????? That must be it! LMBO!

Yes, boards do get cleaned up quite a lot when subjects go way off topic mainly because people coming online and reading it feel the need to answer, justifying it by saying they weren't online at the time.

Enough.

I understand people are curious and want to discuss this issue, but there is a yahoo group and a fellowship (I think) open to anyone who wishes to discuss it.

This is too emotional a subject to fill pages and pages on this board. If there was one straight easy answer it would be ok, but there isn't and probably never will be. So please, if you want to discuss it, go to the yahoo group or the fellowship. Any more posts will have to be deleted because they are off topic.

BIG BAD WOLF: people have a choice of game sites similar to this one to use. Do people really want to play on one that has a scammer multi nik as a global moderator in charge of their posts and who other moderators are? I mean, look how many people related to Bumble are current moderators. What if they are all really the same person? Is that what we want for this site, a group of multi niks running the discussion boards? Maybe you are a multi nik as well? I have had Bumble moderate me and tell me he was saving the site from my post, now find out he was just a scammer? Is this the type of person we want to trust to help out here? We are told that Bumble is a private person, but he sure didnt prove that by his life on here, did he If I really wanted privacy, I could just play my games and chat a bit and everything would be fine. Nobody forced him to become a global moderator, nobody forced him to scam eveyone with a fake personal interview, did we? Is that the life of a person who wants privacy???? The answer to these questions surley is of public interest and concern to all here on Brainking!

ScarletRose: "It's a shame that you were led to believe they were all something they are not.."

I've never said I do or do not believe what has been said, what I have said is that it is really no one's business - who am I to demand information about someone's private life? This is an on-line game site, on-line being the key word - if someone does not want to give too much personal inforamatin about themsleves, then that is their right - to hound them to give personal information about themselves is border-line stalking.

I will never understand why is this such a big story. Did they/she/he do some harm to BrainKing? I don't think so. They/she/he actually helped the site a lot. Did they/she/he hurt anyone playing here? No matter what the answer to this question is, I don't see one valid reason why should it be discussed on this board. If the answer is no, then what's the problem? If the answer is yes, then these people should take care of it privately (since it's only a matter of these two parties) and not "bother" other people who have nothing in common with it.

BIG BAD WOLF: LOL, we are both doing the same thing then... I am only responding to a public post that announced Bumble is dead. That same post asked that we not ask any questions right away, when questions were brought up, they were deleted. Now it has been over amonth, and I think it has been plenty of time to hold off on any questions.

Is bumble really dead? How did he die? How about an obituary, or a funeral, or where to send condolences etc? These are all normal questions that we were asked to not ask for a period of time, that time has lapsed.

Tuesday: Wasn't "hushed", was pointed to other places so it does not take up a ton of room on the public board like all this is doing right now. Czuch has done what he wanted, and has caused more of a ruckas on this board.

Public mobs are not a good thing, no matter if you are part of the mob, the one being mobbed, or just watching the mob from the sideline.

BIG BAD WOLF: you would be surprised by some word of mouth at the group.. who has been taken advantage of and who has talked about it.. there are several others over there wanting to spill the beans as well but they hesitate due to peeps such as yourself who wish not to have open minds..

It is a shame that someone can get away with making a whole site mourn for them.. and spend all their free time searching for phrases to use at a funeral.. all in a good natured way.. to be drug into their lies.. (for whatever reason is beyond me)..

It's a shame that you were led to believe they were all something they are not..
