Board for everybody who is interested in BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future.
If you experience connection or speed problems with BrainKing, please visit Host Tracker and check "BrainKing.com" accessibility from various sites around the world. It may answer whether an issue is caused by BrainKing itself or your local network (or ISP provider).
Your rating drops off the charts if you're not active in a game for 6 months (paying) or 1 month (non-paying). It isn't clear to mean what active means. Does it mean you should have finished a game in the past 6/1 month(s)? Or could I just start 10 win match with a 30 day move period, move once a month, and stay on the charts forever, without my rating changing? I hope it's the former.

Fencer: I've found that my backgammon rating has gone up by 34 and more. Is that an expected result of the "clearout"? And, out of curiousity, is there any way for me to find where these extra points came from?
playBunny: I think Fencer can do it a few ways. One will be that your rook membership will start right away, then when that is over, you can have your additional 4 months of Knight.
But if you talk to him, he may go ahead and "covert" your 4 months of knight membership for 2 extra months of rook membership. I'm not 100% sure of this - best to do is just message him and ask.... he will work with you.
LOL give it a try and see if its what you were looking for!
*edited to add... don't ever be embarrassed asking about something. If you don't know, then there will be other people that don't either so you're doing all those people a favour too.
Clay, you mean to see all the baords at once? After you clicked on 'discussion boards' you can click on 'expand all boards' and that will show you every public discussion board on the site.
Could we have a link for game site boards? Where one could just click on the link and see the various discussion boards. Perhaps it would be identical to the "Discussion boards" link.
DUMB QUESTION: Is there an easy way now to see such a list or have I just not found it yet?
Pioneer54: Although some of the things you write about might be true, I would prefer if such posts don't appear on the main BrainKing board. Use General Chat instead.
Pioneer54: i think that you'll finnd that Fencer would rather not have anyone bashing other sites on here! or at least keep the bashing to a dull roar! lol
Fencer: i think a paying member should remain on the active list until after they've been a pawn for 30 days, as a courtesy for being a paying member! there can't be that many paying members that haven't been on in a while. jmo
