pauloaguia: Yeah I eventually found it. But it doesn't show as a different colour on my screen. I had to run my mouse over the text to get it to change colour and even then it only became a little lighter. Usually a link is a lot more distinct than that.

and on the subject of the blog about the new colours. Where is the link to Wikipedia? The name is a link back to the same page!

And as for the menu columns, I already have them turned off in game pages. I even have Notations off as standard and only view them when I need to.

The frustration is the main page and DB pages like this one. I cannot turn the menus off for these pages and countless times I have gone to click a game on the main page and Firefox kicked the page sideways and I clicked one of the headers and changed my list. EG. I list my games in time ascending and I have clicked the Games header and listed them in Games order instead. Then it takes another load to get my page back how I want it.

Could we please have the option to turn off our Friends online list as well as the Fellowship list.

I can check my games with friends using the Friends page or with the filter which is set to display my friends right at the top of the list and I can check my fellowships on the f/s page or in my profile. I don't need these things on every board page.

I would much rather just have my favourite boards list and add the main f/s pages that I read in there. One simple list.

Instead of free membership for winners it might be good if Fencer supplied some "stuff" as prizes for a few tourneys. A t-shirt or mug or whatever. Cheap advertising and a way to get more new members instead of just extending memberships of those already here. 

I think when new games are added to the site they should be automatically selected in the Game Filter and then if you don't want them you have to go and turn it off yourself. I think most people on here like to try the new games when they are added just to see what they are like so if they were turned on straight away it would be a lot less mucking about!

Fencer: That won't help mezzanine as they are a pawn but the same thing happened to me this afternoon. I have http://brainking.com/en/GameList bookmarked and as soon as I clicked "log in" I was taken to the error page. And I have all ads off.

Summertop: My question would be "Why does it need to tell us that they are new posts?" Why doesn't the favourite boards list just have the same style as the Fellowships list and just a red number in brackets. I know the ones on the fellowships list become links to the actual board within the fellowship but the style could be the same couldn't it??? 

emmett: you forgot to factor in the blocked user. If you don't want to play someone for some reason but they turn up at the same IP as you (due to using a public facility) then you don't wanna meet them in person do you?????

Andersp: It causes enough confusion already with the relationships in this place. Some people I know already change their name weekly and others would have to start!!!

pgt: Well that wouldn't count then. What emmett suggested was if they log on from the same computer. Each person that logs on fromt that one computer somehow has a list attatched to their games to show who else has logged on from that exact computer.

I don't get to see the ships I have missed when a Battleboat game ends??? I check at the end of the game to see which I have missed but none of the games will show me.

Can someone please explain to me how 5 of a kind doesn't equal a full house. It is most definitely 3 of a kind plus 2 of a kind !!!!!!

Also I would like to see the bonus for the top half of the game in the Dice Poker version just like it is in the Triple version. When I play on paper with the kids we always use the bonus.

I have been confronted by a Kiwi bird smiley from one of my New Zealand opponents and was horrified to find that I could not retaliate with a Kangaroo, Koala or even an Emu or Wombat!!!
