Assunto: I owe to my new book - computing for dummies
And the information in my previous post is from the chapter "System Terminal Integrated Network KVMswitching & Electronic Routing" or better known as :Stinker
I think you've hit on it BBW. Actually there is a technical term for what occured. "FART."
Faulty_Access - Routing_Terminated
These problems usually don't last long as the system reboots and releases the "GAS" (Governing Access System)of excess demands on it and false reporting of system ISP terminal originating signals.
Sometimes there is a minor "FART" in a system called a "TOOT" (Technical Overload Often Temporary) and these are generally unobserved by users even though they occur often they are the kind most people don't notice.
At any rate, I hope this technical explanation makes sense to you all. Sounds like things are back to the pre-2.0 change over. :)
You all know I was a direct victim of ChiefKM's (Purple GZ) manipulations and internet fraud. I continue to be a victim of Purple through the spreading of more lies. But with Usurper, it is a very different story. If anyone has a reason to hold a grudge againts Usurper, it would be me. However, I have been in contact with him since his return and consider him a close BK friend. I believe everything he says on his profile and my trust in him, and my friendship with him, has been fully restored. Welcome back Usurper.
Assunto: We've had this discussion before and it's my position
that it's technically not cheating simply because someone could inadvertently make the moves according to the order of the dice and be puzzled that only one move could be made. But, if the order of the dice was reversed (switched) then bot numbers could be played. Since the system allows this, it can't be considered cheating. It's a flaw in the system. It also occurs a small percentage of the time. I think it will be fixed in BK 2.0. :)
I like BBW's second polling idea best. :) I vote #1. If I don't win that election, I'll run next for BK Administrator for 2.0. :) All in favor? say......

Thanks for noting correctly that I am an expert offering that guidance Purple. I duly note that you are a master of the art of cozening. Which makes it all the less surprising that you don't let the moderator speak for herself in both situations. I suggest we leave it here and let harley decide for herself.
Assunto: I just noticed that ML GZ included a personal attack
in his post below. I thought it was clear that those types of posts were to be avoided. Even if what ML stated about cheating is true, it's not germane to the BKR discussion.
I agree with that MM. I don't so much worry about the lower rated players in backgammon. I prefer playing higher rated players because they typically offer a more challenging game but I play in lots of tourneys and play on both sides of the curve.
is it fair to ask if tags after one's name is now ok? I and a few others am under the impression that it is not but there seems to be some confusion in the matter.
Why not have their names removed from the master list and moved to an "inactive" list after 6 months of inactivity? Let inactive accounts that have played games stay but take them off the main list and put them on the inactive. If they play again, they can move automatically to active.
