Fencer....I do not know if this is a Bug, or something has stopped working or maybe BarinKing just had a moment
Just going through all running Team Tournaments, so i can keep all Madhouse players up-to-date, and came across a Tournament that must have finished recently (well, since i last went through them all)
Bernice: What is this person's BK user name, the one who sent you the message here at BK? Surely they can't use a yahoo address to send you a BK message?
Bernice: Well if you received that in a PM here on Brainking, why not just block them? Or if they are spamming many people on here, we can certainly block them from sending messages to anyone.
How are you doing? I hope all is well my name is miss linda i want to be your good friend please send me your email at my private box (lindayomiec@yahoo.com) so i will give you my picture have a nice day Yours linda.
Assunto: Re: Gross distortion of the "KM Business."
Purple: I don't think so from what was said about the activities of that club you use to be in, you did get banned because of it for a while as did many people involved in the running of KM.
crosseyed: Because of the KM business which involved many people cheating via using multi-nicks, letting others go into their accounts and threats against other members here..... That's why.
Roberto Silva: Why are people on here so serious? Lighten up. 2. Was only an example of what could happen if some did ask someone to make their moves on their behalf.
1 - When you register to the site it's assumed you have read the terms and conditions and agree to abide by them. The fact that most people don't is besides the point: if you decide to register and complain afterwards about rules you should've read before, that's your problem.
2 - If you're seriously ill on a hospital bed and the first (or even the 50th) thing that comes to your mind is "I'm gonna time out on BrainKing if I don't get internet access soon", then you REALLY need to set your priorities straight!
my 2 cents : if i cant play and i used up all my vacation days .. then i would not like it .. but i would accept it
i play for fun and ranking, but fun comes first, and i would miss playing on here if i wouldnt be able to login, but there are more important things in life
personally i would not like my opponent to hand over his game to someone else ... if the new player is much stronger and annihilates me with a short series of moves then it could spoil the game which might have been interesting with someone of an equal level as me .. if the new players is much weaker then it might spoil the game as well as there might not be the challenge which i expected .. and i wouldnt be able to learn from his moves (which i like to do while playing stronger opponents)
of course there is no 100% proof via which you can show someone is playing games for someone else :)
crosseyed: Who cares what is said in that fellowship. It's all just kids being kids, most of them having broken the rules and then just complaining when someone else does it... as it is not them and they are not the ones getting away with it.
Assunto: Re: What happens if some goes into hospital suddenly?
crosseyed: If someone was that ill... why are they worrying about a few games on the internet.. are they not.. or as you said... "I only play for fun."
so why are you worrying if you lose a load of games?
Assunto: Re: What happens if some goes into hospital suddenly?
(V): OMG. What if someone is too ill to use the internet? And not all hospitals have the internet.
If someone else made a move in a game with me I would not consider it cheating.
People take things far to seriously and need to lighten up a bit, afterall it only a game site. It's not life treatening if some else make a move on behalf of some one else.
My main reason for responding to the original post is people telling tales on others.
crosseyed: Unless the hospital has no internet there is no problem. From experience.. they do have internet as well as digital TV, so you can do your moves whilst on the ward.
It will cost you a few bob, but at least you won't (by the rules of this site) be cheating.
rod03801: Do you really think/believe everyone reads and agrees to the terms?
What I don't like is some arguing in the Flame Pit Fellowship and then going into another discussion board telling tales and trying to get someone into trouble or banned even.

rod03801: Well that has to be a man thing the need to win at everything. It could be you might get someone with less skills! I only play for fun. I don't take computer games seriously as it so bias anyway. The dice games are mainly luck. What happens if two people share an account?
I am due to go into hospital myself and I am trying to get through all my games. Also I am not taking on any more games. But there is chance I might not complete all my games because some people take so long to make moves.

crosseyed: That's not quite true. If I started a game with someone with a certain BKR, and a certain skill level at a certain game, I have the right to finish out that game with THAT person. Not someone whose skills may be twice that of the "real" person.

Artful Dodger: If people have paid for their membership then it their right to with it what they like with it. What happens if some goes into hospital suddenly? They might ask someone to make thier moves for them while they are in hospital. If they want to take the risk of letting someone use their account that is surely their problem and NOT your.
