yoyudax: you can resign your games in the tournament, but the tournament wont be finished before all games of all players in the tournament are finished
so you can resign your games, but will still have to wait for the others to finish
but: when your games in a tournament are finished, and you have no chance to continue to the next round, then you can ask fencer, nicely, if he can remove you from the tournament so you can join a new one. he is the only one who can do it .. so be gentle :)
Hrqls: thx again for the answer, also Vikings, but maybe I am just to stupid, but if I do that all I see is this: http://brainking.com/de/Stairs?tri=103 which is not a lot (if you can see the same link as I)
fismoluni: you can go to all the public stairs in the left menu, in which you can click on a specific stairs in which you can click on a specific game to see all the participants in the game in that stairs
but there are also stairs inside the fellowships, there is no global list for all those stairs combined i think
when you want to see all the participants in a specific stairs you are in, you can click on the stairs and see their names though
There are still 3 spots left at the happy birthday tiv noi tournament (Anti Line4, 8 players, single elimination), starting on sunday! I'd be glad if it started in time, because it's a birthday tournament ;)
TIA 4 joining :)
Hrqls: thx for the answer, but what I would like to see is a list of all the participants in the stairs and on what stair they are, is that possible? and if not someone knows why?
Like I had said before, the player who is now under the 1800 limit was over 1800 just a short bit ago, and was probable signed up before his rating dropped. (You can click on the "chart" of the player to see how his rating had just went down).
I've seen strange settings all the time, that's what makes the tournaments interesting - always something different to choose from.
Nirvana: Which tournament? Some tournaments might have a ratings range (like under 1500), but also allow unrated players. It is all up to the tournament creator if they want to allow unrated players to join.
Indiana Jones: if you ask fencer nicely he may release you from that tournament because you cant advance to the next round , im sure thats what people have done before ;)
I never get any games in this "tournament" but I am prevented from signing up for others. If I cannot get games to play, there is very little purpose to staying around this site.
