I don't get the problem with a big boss being on another fellowship's team... I am playing on power house's reversi 6x6 team because we could never get 10 players from Club WebTV. (I have to beg and plead to get half that number, LOL!)
I noticed a team that had 3 or 4 Big Bosses on it. I think all BBs should have to play on their own fellowship teams or post a team from their fellowship before they can join another team.
I have been on a couple of teams now, neither which has or had enough players for the team tourney. Maybe we could combine a couple of teams or something? I am currently in the scrl/ team, anyone out here that wants in the reversi tournament, lets get together and make sure we all can get in....

I have just started a fellowship this morning & to all who may want to join, feel free. Only 2 things that I request is always to have FUN & absolutely NO fighting (unless it is cyber food throwing then that's ok)
On the subject of unrated players or those with low ratings ~ I recently picked up an open game with another player and lost, but don't mind doing that as fun comes first with me. When I offerd a return game I was declined because my ratings aren't high enough!! I think that stinks. It isn't the first time I have come across this, and it probably won't be the last. When playing these games cease to be fun I will stop playing them.
As far as tournaments on Nooks and Crannies go ~ ratings/rankings are irrelevant. FUN comes first. So anyone who wants to sign up, please feel free to do so.
Pawns : I know of at least 2 who would like to be able to play in the tournaments, one expert at checkers, can pawns play in tournaments, and can they join fellowships?
Nice one, Nirvana!
It's coming to the time where teams are being picked and people that wanted to play are being left out - often players that were the first to sign for the team or unrated players.
New Fellowship ~ I started it yesterday, anyone who wants to join will be welcome, and we are looking for people who want to sign up in our teams:
Checkers, Froglet, Line 4, Pente, Backgammon Race, and Chess.
Maybe the fellowships should start posted how many players each need to enter the next round of team tournament - since lets say 2 different fellowships have 1/2 a team, and we can not find anyone else to join - they could join one of the fellowships as 1 team so everyone gets to play.
While reading messages through the fellowships, I seen that there were a few that needed players. Here are a couple I'm in that I know need players:
Other fellowships - please post what you still need and maybe we can find players without teams, or combine a couple of teams so everyone who wants to play can play!
I have a fellowship of 80 members and still can't get any teams up :( Please anyone interested in playing in the team tournaments for backgammon race and froglet feel free to join Crissie's Clubhouse and sign up! :o)

Stevie number of fellowships 9. September 2004, 12:01:59
This was going to be limited for each member wasnt it?
Is that still going to happen?
We were told to amalgamate fellowships because by BK2, you didnt want to see lots of members with fellowships for single or two games etc.
This is not the case, especially as the team tournies have started now, I amalgamated a few fellowships to make one that covers a number of games, and others are opening new ones up
Maybe it needs clarifying wether you want it limited still or not Fencer?

Sir! Sir! Mr Fencer sir! Someone's hacked into Stevie's account and they're being helpful. They're ruining Stevie's reputation. Tell them off, sir! Go on, sir! Make them go away! They're frightening me.
Rooks would be limited to being Big boss of a maximum of 2 fellowships, so you have no worries, join as many as you like and play as much as you like upto your knight limits :o)
Yes, and you can join as many fellowships as you want. (The limit on fellowships, is that Fencer doesn't want anyone to have more than a couple fellowships that they run).
And to clarify, you can only be on one team of any specific game. If you are on the chess team of fellowship "A", you can't join the chess team of fellowship "B". but you can certainly join the Gothic Chess team of fellowship "B".
I know that as a knight member, you will be limited on the number of tournaments you are allowed to play in. You can play chess in as many fellowship tournies as you have room for. I think thats how it goes anyways :)
Since I am new here I have questions. I am reading there will be limits on numbers of fellowships. Since I already have several offers to join, then I would like to know if 2 is going to be the number, & are you limited to playing say chess to only 1 fellowship in either tournmt's to 1 club or both (which means possible clashes/confliction of interests when clubs play against eachother & a member belongs to both). Thanks.
