Do you miss something on BrainKing.com and would you like to see it here? Post your request into this board! If there is a more specific board for the request, (i.e. game rule changes etc) then it should be posted and discussed on that specific board.
mctrivia: If its a 2 win match, doesn't that mean that you have to WIN 2 games to advance? So if you win one, and your opponent wins the next, there would automatically be a third game........
Gordon Shumway: I almost never click on "choose another piece" but hit the back button if I didn't like a move. But I do always use the "choose another piece" button if I want to start the move over. I agree that something like "restart turn" is more accurate, but I figure that was entered when he was writing the site with a chess program.
It seems like a lot of people don't utilize the tournament discussion board but I like it. At any rate, I think that the tourney creator should be able to write to the board even if they are not playing that particular one....
Did you know that if you place your mouse over the flag, it will tell you the name of the country and the number of players on the site that display that flag?
Also, if you click on the flag, it will open up a new windwon with the list of players from that country, along with the name of the country.
Lots of times, I will set up some tourney's that are 1 day moves, with no days off. This way, everyone has to move at least every 24 hours and auto-vacation will not extend the time.

CryingLoser: A complete other idea for solution would be a counter for the timeout-defeats of a player in a year. The first timeout should limit his open slots to 1000, the second to 500, etc. until this system self-regulates the poor forecast of a "specialist" and reduces his open slots to exactly the quantity he can handle.
It sounds like you are assuming anyone who times out is a 'specialist'. What about someone who has an emergancy and cannot get online? Should they be penalized list above?
Last week I had to let over 60 games time out because I could not come online. It was unexpected and unanticipated. I do not cry or complain since things happen, but I do not think I should be punished by the system either.
