the vulnerability in mozilla/firefox bbw reported in 7/10 ... actually on 7/8
the team had worked on the configuration already - to check whether
your version of mozilla/firefox is safe, visit their security page ... ~*~

Tweaked with the Adobe Gamma controls and can make it even too bright now. :) How come I never noticed that before? thanks

depends on your graphics-card - many of them have special drivers providing
controldecks for the so called gamma-correction, possibly even for single colours
If you're not uptodate that way, try searching www.cnet.com for 'graphic tweaks' ... ~*~

sounds like an easy question when I think of it but I need to know if there are any ways to brighten up my monitor (other than the monitor controls on the front themselves).

I just used my daughters pc and everypicture was clearer (brighter) and I'm not sure why mine images are so much darker( for example, on heres all the details show..on mine they are in a shadow)

? help ;)

usually you are able to click on the center picture -
right click i.e. and chose 'save image as' to download
- once arrived on your computer, you cAn cut it with common proggies ~*~

Some webpages refuse to work properly but with IE ... Microsoft is used
to sabotate competitors anyway - here's a workaround, the Mozilla Prefbar
it gives you direct access to all them useful preferences, e.g. enable/disable
javascript (i.e., for ebay), clear cache, permit images, kill flash or, force own colours,
if a webpage appears to be unreadable else - best gimmick though is a user-agent
that pretends to be Internet-Explorer 5/6 :D quite a few sites, 'broken' before for mozilla,
will work properly then ... please note that changes will be effective immediately albeit perceptible not until next refresh ... ~*~

I personally don't like buying items like that from eBay (bought it at Best Buy Store).

There are some "guides" that I used when I choose a camcorder like:

epinions.com - use this site for all kinds of great information & reviews on ALL type of items.

Sorry for sounding thick, but did the advert say it comes with all the memory etc to be able to use it immediately?

*edit* The reason I ask is because one person I questioned about theirs told me it has memory, but no 'internal' memory? Buhhhh....

17. Julho 2004, 20:03:01

I have a great digital camera, but I like the idea of being able to see the pictures on this one before I actually take them. As well as having a camcorder! LOL!

17. Julho 2004, 19:59:32
coan.net
I took a look, but I notice that they don't give things like the camera model number, or other things which might make it easier to do websearchs on.

We bought a camcorder not too long ago, but I rarley use it - I still use my good quality digital camera all the time.

17. Julho 2004, 19:57:46

No, not always. I was looking at another camcorder on ebay, and I checked the feedback of the seller. One of her buyers complained it didn't come with a memory card, she replied that it wasn't advertised as having one. But I don't know what I'm looking for in the advert to tell me if it has one! LOL!

that's enough for quite a few pictures - but not for longer videos ... ~*~

17. Julho 2004, 19:53:31

I have no idea what any of that means :o(

I've never owned a camcorder before, and its only the price of this thats made me consider one.
But the price has also makes me suspicious! Does it come with everything I need too open the box and start using it as a camcorder and a still camera - or will I have to buy extra stuff?

Memory cards can become quite expensive ... Prices go down,
but perhaps it's a good idea to use a portable Mini-Harddisk 1.8",
they come with 1.5-2 GB and even fit into some of the standard
cardslots ...there are portable notebooks HDs as well - much cheaper ...
a seagate momentus 5400 with 40 GB is only €115 (+case ~€150) while an
SD MemoryCard from Kingston 512 MB is already about €95 - last not least
there are portable CD-Recorders, they read directly from your cam
and burn it to CD - average price about €150 ... good luck hunting ... :) ~*~

Assunto: Does anyone know about camcorders?
I'm very tempted to buy this camcorder, but I don't know enough about them to know if its any good.
People keep waffling on about internal memory, memory cards etc... If I buy this, will I have to pay out even more for memory?

at the change over to BK2, my main page where I log into BK is a perfect screen :) THEN
I go to any board, and i have to scroll across.
All my games pages are OK it is just the message boards and fellowship boards.
To my knowledge i havent changed any settings, but can someone put me on the right track...Please dont get too technical as im not really computer literate :)

Very nice programm, that was very helpfull to me was Aida32 that gives you all informations about your computer, drivers, installed software and have included diagnostic moduls. But since this year the development of this application has been stopped for sure. It's a pity, isn' t it? ;o) I found out that the utility with the same features and by the same author! has been released. This new utility is called EVEREST and have the same feautures as Aida had. (of course it's by the same author). So Everest gives you full hardware, software, directX,overclock information, have diagnostic moduls, benchmark tests, tweaking features and all this informations can be printed or exported in HTML or XML. So if you were looking for something like that, try this monitoring utility.I'm sure you'll be pleased.

have a nice day
(and sorry my english)

One of the small PC tools that a friend of mine just gave me, called Startup Run - Which will find everything that automaticly starts up with your computer. (Start menu, registry, etc...) - plus it will give you options to disable, delete, etc...

Utility Found Here

And of course if you don't know much about PC, don't use it since you might end up removing something important. Well you can use it to view things, but be very carefully if you remove/disable anything. :-)

XP-AntiSpy that is ... deals with a lot of hidden default-values
of Windows. Services that contact the net without letting you know,
only for your own good of course, as Gates of Chaos explains permanently.

XP-Antispy is obligatory for Windows XP Home, as some administrative
features are not accessible altogether unlike in Windows XP Pro.

That is removing the bandwidth limit. Those notorious 'services'
of Microschwartz actually get 20% bandwidth reserved - on a T1 connection
transfer made a leap from 2875 kB/s to 3180 after AntiSpy ... judge yourself. ~*~

Another good browser is Opera. In the beggining of month has been released new version, actualy v7.51. It has only 3,4 MB (with Java 16.4 MB). It also included e-mail client (M2),you can use opera to connect to IRC channels, pop-up blocking, chat client, WAND password manager, download manager, cookies manager and another very usefull features. E-mail client has its own SPAM filter of good quality, multiple document interface allows you to resize and pose pages next to each other, you can configure Opera in your own style with a very good preference..... I think it´s a good choice instead of using IE (more safer, comfortable and simple to use).
Here is official site where you can learn more about this brilliant browser, you can find there documantation, features
, language options of interface, and of course download it<a/>.
