McKinnon Expiration of the Bush-era tax cuts would take a sizable bite out of middle-income families’ disposable incomes, according to a soon-to-be-released study by the nonpartisan Tax Foundation. The study examines the effects in each state and congressional district for the middle 20% of taxpayers. (The study excludes single taxpayers, which makes the savings appear somewhat bigger, because the Bush-era tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 were more favorable to families, particularly those with children.) |
