I can tell you from experience that what that caller said is so very true. I've seen dozens of examples of that sort of thing. Kid has a kid, is irresponsible, and grandparents raise the child. Meanwhile, the "mother" gets all kinds of government assistance. My brother is one of those grandparents. He's been raising two of his grandkids (and he's a step dad). Coulter is spot on with regard to single parents (statistically speaking). There's always exceptions but exceptions don't make the rule. Society would do well to pay attention to the research she cites. 4.
