furbster: I hope that doesn't happen, because I am offline for two weeks before the 20th, so I would lose on time... I actually rely on it starting only that day.

Aganju: I would imagine it probably will start on the stated date to be fair.
I think the last prize backgammon tourenament i created only had 84 players, and this one being red dot, will put a few players off joining too.

furbster: yep ... i would join any bg prize tournament of 3 days, or even 2 or maybe even 1 day per move .. but not with a red dot ... sorry
