Now I would point out at this time that "a member" had a tournament going and I informed him of the fact that if i was placed up against a certain person I would resign the game and not even attempt to play it... this person was already on my ignore list.....
surely there is an option or a code that could keep "ignored" people away from the people that want to be "ignored"???

I set the close off at 16th March 2004 at 1600pm

when i click on the tournament it closes on 17th March 2004 at 00.00.00 time :(

I dont know how that part of it all works...but if a tournament is deleted are all references and acceptances also deleted?

when viewing games ...where it says "last move" is that the time on that game or is it the time they last moved on ANY game?

The reason I ask is I have a tournament that has been running since last august and there is only one game left and i was wondering if it was being played?

There is a computer board on here and they have some very knowledgable advisors on there...It might pay to take this to that board.

now THAT is a good idea...for the $5 - give them 30 games, allow them to join 5-10 fellowships, still calling them pawns but with a star next to their name or some such thing...Good one Lythande...but then on 2nd thoughts, if they can afford $5 for the game then Lindas tourney should have 1000 people in it and it isnt looking as healthy as that at the moment. But then they do have till the end of March to sign up so things could change :)

302paid players....is that all there are???? not counting CAOZ and management? wow...no wonder Fencer is struggling.....even at $5donation per head $1500 isnt going to go anywhere.

it works out at $12.50 approx per paid player, to raise the $4000 that is needed...
if each and every one of us paid for an extra 6 months right now....PROBLEM SOLVED...alternately we could each pay for a pawn, but would they all renew or just enjoy our money and donation of a membership and then leave?

I think each of us extending a further 6 months now is a far better idea.

maybe a fellowship or something could be set up where those that were willing to donate money could post on there what they would donate etc. no discussion just posting what you would donate...this could be Moderated by Fencer, or someone nominated by Fencer.
All donations from $1.00 to ?????whatever would be accepted, and there would NOT be any need for anyone to feel embarrassed because they could only donate a dollar:) That way we could see how many are genuine etcetc, and then maybe in about a month or so....all pledges could be called in.
What is the general opinion on this please?

these would be virtually binding, altho we all know that cant be done, but it would be a case of Honour:) and maybe Fencer could put a star next to people who donate...or some sort of "symbol" to show others that they are REAL supporters of BK :)

yes that is true, but maybe by then things would be running spiffy, and not as much revenue would be needed for the up-keep.
I feel that all donations as such should be made on a personal basis to Fencer...somebody giving $50 could make somebody giving $5 feel a bit inadequate. We went over this before if you remember.

that is a good idea....if we all paid our money now to Fencer, then when it came time to renew our membership, maybe it could be utilized then.
Im already paid in advance and have been for over a month, but i would consider paying again, if it could be used for membership next september when it is due again ;)

Fencer.....would getting rid of "Archived Games" free up some space.....I tried to view game 1 between you and Liquid, but it was a private game but I could see your game with Ang at game number 10.....there are one hell of a lot of games archived it that is the case :)
Just a suggestion and can anybody tell me how often they look at archived games?

I have checked the 2 tournaments and this is the result......

in the 5 in Line Zetes and Antje have an outstanding game....if they could finish that the 5 in line would be over.

as for the battleboats....Molly v Whikki, and Whikki v goodfoods is still outstanding...again if those could be finished ....I play with Molly every day so I cannot understand it being outstanding...all these games hould have well and truly timed out by now....perhaps Fencer could look into it.

The tourneys are called...Five up, five down, five across.......and Bernice's best battleboats bruhaha.....
