BBC is also cool at part and things have gone that might come back. Anyway only BBC World matters here.
The Iranian nutheads... when they talk about foreign intrusion that would have lead to the protests, This should translate to 'state interventionalism'. This government would love to turn their own history into a historical show down debate. Give it to them! We'd love to know more about the Persia/Iran/Great Britain complex, as a nice opening to a decent blah blah. It might force Iran to mobilize intellectual and educated forces, which could be amazingly interesting.
gogul: The world moves so much slower forward as our minds are able to. Modes, not clothes, grow and fall. Worthy is to keep one owns esprit awaken, a little exercice it seems, where knots, synapsies and braincells are under voltage.
I think a newspaper with a BBC logo would look like a joke. I watch tv at times, maybe a half hour the whole past month. Seems like every country has it's own media problem. In Switzerland, my problem is that about two publishing houses "go with the time", it's kind a fluid nonsence, instead of staying true to themselv.
(V): Embarrassing sword facts. At least there are some places who try to reach their goals with intelligence. Like Canada, or Norway, or the US courently. Or less intelligence, like Island, but at least! GB's representatives are still a manslaughter to me. I'm very sorry. Or why sorry? You probably know the degenerated British uperclass.
My feeling is that the 2007 London car bombings where an orchestred fake from A to Z. A Browny/Bush booster, laws to control the opposition, to legitimate governmental stress over the people.
And the manipulators of Iran call out the harmless, moderate and careful foreign reactions on the election as hostile. Pretty much for a country that maintains its revolution like a finance bubble with verbal trash against Israel and the US.
Shell ...agreed to pay $15.5 million to settle a case accusing it of taking part in human rights abuses in the Niger Delta in the early 1990s, a striking sum given that the company has denied any wrongdoing.
In a statement, the company said the agreement “will provide funding for the trust and a compassionate payment to the plaintiffs and the estates they represent in recognition of the tragic turn of events in Ogoni land, even though Shell had no part in the violence that took place.”
Ten plaintiffs, including the son of Mr. Saro-Wiwa and his brother, accused Shell of seeking the aid of the former Nigerian regime to silence the critic, as well as paying soldiers who had carried out human rights abuses in the impoverished region where it operated.
The Niger Delta continues to be marred by violence and ethnic strife. Much of Shell’s production in the delta is still the target of militants seeking a larger share of the country’s oil wealth.
The prominent case involving Shell was the latest to challenge the behavior of some of the world’s biggest oil companies in developing countries. Companies are increasingly being called to account for their environmental record as well as any collusion with repressive governments.
“We hope this sends a signal. It’s a relief also that we’ve been able to draw a line over the past. And from a legal perspective, this historic case means that corporations will have to be much more careful.”
Субъект: Re: If 99% of the population wanted anarchy, then your 1% stance would have to be considered extreme...
(V): Propaganda can do that. That's the problem with the media, Vikings mentioned problems it causes our days. Germany for instance: Best for certain politicians there would be that in 2010 there is no journalism left to analyse the "Agenda 2010".
Субъект: Re: If 99% of the population wanted anarchy, then your 1% stance would have to be considered extreme...
Czuch: Alright czuch ;), let's bother the Germans once again. Are german socialdemocrats the like of Schröder, Eichel etc. totally nuts? Problem with not reelecting politicians is that they fade out of responsability. All that remains is lynching. I don't know if that's an option for Germans.
Imagine a world in which the transport business would ask a profi margin of 10 pc. Who is making your coffee drink in the morning? I know the funny perspective but after 3 month this world would be over.
How often do you need a banker? Once a year? I don't understand the hektic of todays banking. There is no connection between the finance sector and the real economy. Even if you need a credit from a bank you are, let me express it that way, a low-lifer. I have more respect of the service of the windowcleaner as the coke turbo banker himself.
I had good reasons to x the UBS. I imp and exported with the Apartheit. I know what I been talking about.
Was a bit rude the obscene Delaware trust, wasn't it? Seems interesting these Anglo-Saxon trust thing anyway. Is or should a Delaware Trust be reserved to (wealthy) Americans btw?
Ok let's try a voyaging coffee bean from South America to London. The passport of the bean gets stamped on several different sweet tax havens, cool islands under British control. It makes your cup of coffee cost about awful 70pc more. You know it can be traded differently, and your first thought is that you'd be willing to pay your taxes with these unjustified 70pc. Ever somebody asked Gordon Brown about? But hey, ok, I have nothing to do with it! I even don't know if you ever saw fair traded coffee. It costs about 15pc more than 'conventional' one, allowes sustainable farming and the worker a better life.
So no, I rather use this board for personal purpose. Down with the UBs, arguing should do it IMO.
Субъект: Re: And Bwild is right, all these scriptures have been doctored, not to mention mistranslated to support various dogmas.
The Usurper: lol Blavatsky. Her "Secret Doctrine" fell in my hands years ago and I finally sold it to finance the rook here which was pretty surprising. Honestly these books where a dust catcher in the second row of my library hehe
