mckinley: its self explanatory.any educated person knows the meaning. it does seem rather odd, that 2..now 3 christians here on this board want to criticize and ridicule anyone that throws out another option or opinion. so much for "brotherly love." myself...I'll stick to the "harm ye none" philosophy.
Iamon lyme: you seem a bit perturbed. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing..just offering an observation. the 10 commandments are a tough act to follow, imo. bible thumping hypocrits are everywhere. I dont need to be a "god" to see this.
Iamon lyme: imagine seeing such a site,in those days. if he would have told everyone.."hey! I just saw an ALIEN!" he'd have been stoned(maybe he was) or in the least, deemed a heretic. preachers have a way with bending terms and words. I think all deities are the result of encounters.
MissDelish: We're not alone!! personally I feel politics are no more than diversions developed by the big business' that run the countries and their puppet politicians.
(V): being the google king..I would have thought you'd have cyphered this out. Rod asked"Is it "anti Christian" to believe there may be life else where in the universe?" I stated" Ezechiel saw the wheel" the book of Ezechiel describes what I believe to be,an ALIEN encounter.
now as far as "shrooms" go......lol heres a guy that was picking the wrong kind.
but...as I was feebly trying to add input.. I was at least staying with the conversation at hand.
Artful Dodger: it doesnt matter. the charges are still exorbitant. yomama care, just forces everyone to be held up by the price gouging hospitals. just like the government forcing the auto industry to build vehicles that get better gas mileage, then over-looking what people are paying at the pump.
as I see it...many people over look the main problem. its the root of the whole issue. who in their right mind, pays 32.00 for a .79 package of tissue? 15.00 for 2 aspirin? 265.99 for some guy to take an x-ray... 357.89 for another to read it..
these prices are extreme to the point of being unbelievable..but true. HOSPITALS they gouge the insurance companies they gouge the patients they gouge the government they gouge the doctors etc then kick back, rake in trillions while everyone points fingers at each other.

Субъект: Re: It is just human nature. We always want things bigger.
(V): I would think England has the same issues as many "small"(land mass) countries...over population and no where to go but up.
in the U.S. its the rising costs of utilities, recession, and "green" awareness. houses are selling for 50 cents on the dollar in some areas..which puts a strangle hold on the construction industry. doesnt really matter...in 10 months we're goners anyways! lol
(V): what does terminal velocity have to do with the fact that if birds dont flap..their gunna fall..no matter what their terminal velocity is. gravity WILL win by confrontation with the earth! lol
Субъект: Re: The infinitly small and dense singularity could just as easily be called infinitly large, because with nothing else to compare it to, the size of that point is irrelevant.
(V): so you admit that this(""seeing as less then a hundred years ago we did not know there was one."") statement was indeed wrong!
Субъект: Re: The infinitly small and dense singularity could just as easily be called infinitly large, because with nothing else to compare it to, the size of that point is irrelevant.
(V): you said..""seeing as less then a hundred years ago we did not know there was one."" then you claim I need history lessons by saying this...""....Edwin Hubble's arrival at Mount Wilson, California, in 1919 coincided roughly with the completion of the 100-inch (2.5 m) Hooker Telescope, then the world's largest telescope. At that time, the prevailing view of the cosmos was that the universe consisted entirely of the Milky Way Galaxy." evidently, mankind knew there was a universe...just didnt know how large...which is still the case today. there have been astronomers throughout time. give it a rest...no one thinks your very smart on these matters....google it!! lol
Субъект: Re: The infinitly small and dense singularity could just as easily be called infinitly large, because with nothing else to compare it to, the size of that point is irrelevant.
(V): "seeing as less then a hundred years ago we did not know there was one." lol..better check google
