Jim Dandy:  Yes, I meant it was easier to watch stonoes if you are one yourself.  Like you, I found performing in an altered state difficult.

Family Man:  You have to be in plain text editor to get the link to embed the video.  Most of us don't embed videos anymore, or we choose to go out to watch the ones that are posted on YouTube itself.  I have heard others say, and it has been my experience as well, that if we watch them from here, there is too much traffic between here and YouTube, and the videos tend to stick.

Coan.net:  Thanks for the post.  I'd not seen those guys before, but I would like to hear more.  But, ummmmm, I didn't know a banana amplified sound.  That was a pretty neat trick.

SEAWOLF2: According to new reports, Amy Winehouse had been smoking heroin on the night she overdosed earlier this week.

After having her stomach pumped and given a shot of Adrenaline, the Rehab singer sneaked out of the hospital and has been holed up since then at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hook, Hants.

Wino was on a three-day drug binge that also saw her consume ecstasy, cocaine and Ketamine, in addition to smoking heroin.

Friends of Winehouse fear that she may be suicidal.

Amy’s family is also concerned that her husband, Blake, is a bad influence and have tried to keep him away from her. But Friday night the two of them were spotted drinking in the hotel grounds.

They were so sloppy it was like listening to a train wreck.I always wondered why musicians weren't aware that the only ones who thought they sounded good while playing stoned were themselves. Here is a vintage clip of a killer tune

GREAT stuff, Jim Dandy.  I needed that tonight.  It was definitely good for me, I think the earth moves everytime he opens his mouth.

The Paisley vids are great y'all.  Isn't that William Shatner?  Kind of unearthly, wouldn't you say?

gogulInteresting collage there, gogul.  I actually have heard nena, but not much.  Nina Hagen is an interesting artist, the way she dresses, and makes up her face gives a lot of texture to what she is doing.  In truth, she has a beautiful voice, and a very wide range.  I did enjoy her performance, thank you.

Family Man:  I would be considered a Dead head.  There is a radio station here that plays nothing but the Dead on Friday nights.  I'm always tuned in.  I think it's my age.

Gogul:  Thank you.  I always love it when someone brings us something we haven't seen, or that not all of us have seen.  Tell us something about her.  Re:  Pink Floyd, David Gilmour did Echos in its entirety at the show I saw last year in at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.  I was lucky enough to be there with a true Floydian, he's lead guitar in a PF cover band, or he was.  He has since moved back here to redneck land where he's too depressed to play.  Hahaha!  Have you heard it live?  It will take your heart.

Mousetrap:   I really don't care who knows what.  I haven't done much in my years I'm ashamed of, or regret except for maybe forgetting to floss, and DD surely wasn't anything to be ashamed of.  Not that I "did" anything, I was only 10.  He was 15, and my parents moved me to Pakistan to get me away from him.  Worked too.

But, I was lucky to have lived in Karachi, because I came to love this style of music.
