Hi there :-)
You need to be a paying member to join the fellowships. If you ever do become one, there are some great fellowships to join already :-)
Being a BrainPawn (non-paying member) you can join one tournament at a time. If you click on the "Tournaments" link on the left column, a list of all the tournaments available for signups will come up. Click on the one you want to join, then the gametype, and then "sign me up for this tournament." Then you're signed up, ready to play :-)
Help!! I just registered on the site. I've been
playing on Its Your Turn. This is different in
some ways and same in some ways. Particularly the
tournaments and Fellowships. What is going on
with this? I need hints and instruction! Help!
I need help!!
Bluegill, In this varint of chess, the opponent has the choice to either accept the move, or request the first player makes an alternative move.
This is another interesting variant.
Hi sansone, and welcome! Favourite boards are discussion boards. At the top on every discussion board theres an option to 'add to favourite boards', then it will appear at the bottom of your page. That way you'll know straight away when theres new messages there. Hope that helps? :o)
Theres a question mark next to most stuff like that you can click on for info.
Just an idea for another variant - this is where a player can refuse the opponent's move, and make them play an alternative move.
However, once a refusal has been made, the alternative must be accepted. A player may (or may not) refuse once each move.
coolknight, thank you. It IS mostly adults here but the minority of children/teenagers here should be considered too. I'm no prude, if you want adult chat while playing then thats entirely your choice, but privately, not on public discussion boards!!
coolknight.. maybe you would be happier in an adult chat room than on a games site?
All I can say is I hope I never have to play you in a tourney. I would certainly never accept an invite from you, dont you know children and teenagers use this site too?
Vikings: Yes, I've looked at the game and Bluegill is right. You cannot castle through a field being attacked [as her knight does]. It is specified in the rules, read them. If you could do such move on other sites, then the other sites are crappy because they don't follow the chess rules.
Kevin, Game#12303
Bluegill, I've never heard of that rule before, It seems to me that I've made that same move before on other sites. That is why I haven't moved yet. I wont wait too long.
Vikings, I believe thats our game your refering too. The reason you can not castle is you would be moving you king across the path of my knight. You can't move your king through a check.
what is the game number? None of the squares involved can be in check, you cannot currently be in check and neither your king nor the rook involved can move previously to your castle for it to be a legal move.
I am attempting to castle in a game but it wont let me. I am not in check but my rook is in jeapordy, Is this not a valid move or is this is this a bug in the game?
hello and but i'm going to remove this game cuz i have new game okay and but here is glossunicorn that is my new game okay and but u can send it to my new game okay and thanks
