I started a bit of training with the older pup (6 months old now) and just am getting her used to the clicker. I click once and then offer a treat (as per the book). From what I've read, they use this system on dolphins (with a whistle but same principle). I have a lot to learn. I tried the first exercise but it didn't work. I think the dog was distracted so I'm trying again later.
