Dylan and Baez: Lovely, took me back a generation or two. I wonder when that was made? Anyone know? That is one question, but it can be interchanged with, how do those people look so YOUNG? Hahaha! Thanks, Nirvana for that.
Angel: I was around in the 70s, but evidently Angel didn't make it into my consciousness. Interesting band, true. Were they around for a while? I got married in 1970, maybe I was busy. Haha! I got unmarried in '83, at which time I became busier. Too bad about the end of the clip. I wonder why people do that? Is there a time limit on UTube?
Rare Earth: They DID get through to me, I loved that song. It's rare, in my experience anyway, for the drummer to sing. At least the person who submitted the clip had the courtesy to fade it out rather than just cutting it off in mid-stream.
Jefferson Airplane: White Rabbit: my favorite song from one of my favorite bands of all time. But then, Alice in Wonderland is also one of my favorite stories. You know, I think most children of the 60s have "been there"...to Wonderland. I still have visuals of the first live performance of that story I ever saw. What a grand set, and the costumes were rich with color and texture. I guess that makes the song come even more alive for me.
Jethro Tull: What can be said? Ian Anderson has certainly stayed in the forefront. He does better on the U.K. charts of late than on the U.S. charts. I love Aqualung, and Thick as a Brick. I also commend him/them for their international interests. They've sounded almost celtic at times in their history. Did you know he has had two #1 hits on the U.S. Charts? First was Thick as a Brick, and the other was A Passion Play. Curved Air/BackStreetLuv: Welcome, Mad March Hair - white rabbit as you portray yourself. I believe I've heard of Curved Air, but it's been a while. Interesting little file on Wikipedia. If the tune branches out from there, I'd probably like it. But, the pace at the beginning might get tedious over the time of a whole song. Can you help me out here?
