david upshaw: I offered a draw in January of 2002. He refused. Rules of the game say one can only offer a draw once. He waits til the last minute before he's to time out then he moves the game. He has timed out the maximum number of times allowed. That game is the only reason I still visit that site.
Stardust: The only reason I find to keep a game for 7 years (and it seems to go on and on...) is that both payers are the most stubborn in the world!!! Weeeell, I could figure another reason, but it would be something like a marriage....lol...is it?

John Toomey, you are right. And IYT it's not the only place where it happens: in REAL LIFE (well, I'm talking in classic checkers case), those are "draw rules" wich are described and used. And some other rules are available (Once again, I'm talking in classic checkers): with 3 queens, one of them in the "main central line" (We call it "the river", in Portugal) Vs 1 queen, you have only 12 moves to win the game. Or if you have 2 queens and a pawn, Vs 1 queen, you have 20 moves to move your pawn, or it is a draw.
