imsoaddicted: The simple answer is either the Barinking rules are changed so we are allowed to play for more than one Team of a certain game at one time or the bug is fixed so people can not abuse it.

crosseyed: simple answer to that dont invite that fellowship to any more matches and the question over time-limits you bring up again was well answered on the tournament board not so long ago
BIG BAD WOLF: I agree with you Wolf we should be able to move about a bit more. What's the point of being in so many Fellowships if you can't join in on some games.
I have always thought that everyone should stay with one fellowship (for all games). That way a greater sense of team fidelity could be nurtured. It would inspire greater competition between fellowships and that would probably be more fun.
MadMonkey: your not allowed to leave a fellowhip if you have outstaniding tournament games so i dont see why the rules should be different with interfellowship matches

BIG BAD WOLF: Something has to be done. This player only joined my team recently and i put them in a match against another fellowhsip that started yesterday morning. Then in the evening they leave the team, sign up for another fellowship team and then challenge us to a match as well Something not quite right about that, if we all did that, it would make fellowship matches pointless.
pauloaguia: You have at least 8 games which did not make it past move #1 - games that don't make it to the 4th move are not counted towards the ratings (but are counted in your win/loss record) - so that is why you see a difference.
MadMonkey: Not a bug, but I think is a good feature. Sometimes a team just needs 1 or 2 more people, and for players who like to play - being able to sign up for that team to play, then possible go back to their original team is a nice feature.
I think there was once a bug where the same player was playing in the same team challenge/match (against themselves) - I'm not sure if that was ever fixed or what came of it.
But as long as that does not happen - it's nice to be able to move teams. (But I would support maybe some kind of limit - like you can't join anouther team for 30 days since you joined another or something)
Could someone please explain to me the meaning of my row on the Dark Chess ratings page? It states "14 (7/0/15)", under "Counted Games". I've just checked and every single one of my Dark Chess games was ranked (Counts towards BKR). So why is it that it says I have only 14 games when I won 7 and lost 15?
Fencer: We can only sign up for one Team of a particular game as the system will not let us play for more than one. So how can someone playing for a team in one fellowship, leave that team while still playing for it in a match, and join another fellowships team of the same game ??? Is it a bug ??? If not the same person could carry on playing for every fellowship they are a member of.
just wondering, because I wasn't going to be online until late tonight, and my plan was to get lots of moves made thursday night so that I would stay caught up... Obviously I couldn't do that with the site down.. So I'm just curious if I have to cancel my plans tonight.. (LOL, people will laugh at me if I say I can't go because of my games!) And, I'm going to be gone for the next 14 hours because of work.. so can't do it now..
imsoaddicted: well done! quite some effort not one which i am capable of copying, let alone beating, .. i am not determined enough .. it needs quite some concentration to it
Baked Alaskan: well i was here only 21 hrs as i slept for 2 took a bath rebooted once a hour and in the time it took to reboot i grabbed something to eat but if i had been playing only ludo and for the full 24 hrs i know 12000 moves in one day is possible!!!! stupid yep but not impossible
imsoaddicted: Sorry, I didnt mean to upset you. Was just thinking, if u moved every 8seconds how in the world did u cook/make food in that 24hrs? Or even eat it? LOL Didnt U use the bathroom? No sleep in 24hrs?
imsoaddicted: and my final word on the subject is if you play only ludo for one hour solid i can average nearly 650 moves so theres an even bigger record out there if you want to go for it yourself

it's very interesting and i can't wait for it to be continued, i'm here since nov.2 2002, that's almost the beginning, and it's fun looking back. BK has surely come a long way. Fencer and Liquid have done a great job. ty for a great site.
