Pedro Martínez: Hi Pedro, The pronounciation of i and ı are not so much different, ı is pronounced from throat like some french words but i is from mouth. For example, the word "other" if I write it here as phonetic, it is read as "adır". And that is how ı is pronounced in Turkish also :-) example of i is like this; "ill" while saying the first letter, that is the same sound of i in Turkish. But the hardest part for language beginners is to learn where to use them. In the speech it does not matter, but when writing it matters. I hope this helped you Ebru 9.
