Why do discussions perpetuate the rights and wrongs of left and right? We are approaching DEFCON3 and the discussions are still fixed on Albania.
There is only one puppet master (the real power brokers) who control both left and right, the press, with global influence. Obama is merely a puppet and he is currently destroying the US economy. It has worldwide repercussions.
We're still hovering around par,I'm still holding a grand US cash that I have yet to exchange from my trip to Vegas a month back.........I think our strong dollar is more a reflection of the very weak US buck
Konu: Re: and he is currently destroying the US economy.
SL-Mark: It was destroyed before he came into power.. lax regulations on the financial market are never good. The time of the handshake being a matter of honour in business is dying.
Konu: Re: and he is currently destroying the US economy.
SL-Mark: Realistically thinking, do you really think multi billion dollar corporations are going to hand the keys to a private citizen who just happens to capture the imagination of slightly more than 50% of those who bother to vote?
Konu: Re: and he is currently destroying the US economy.
The Col: But that's part of my point. Of course they aren't. Presidents are selected not elected. Obama has already committed high treason against his country and reneged on all his promises. But were we surprised? Of course not, he dances to the tune of the puppet masters.
Konu: Re: Don't know what handshakes and honour has to do with it
SL-Mark: In olde days... a mans word/handshake was his bond, it is still reflected in the likes of the stock exchanges floor trading.
'Madoff's' would be nigh on impossible.
As for Iron Fist.. Is that the government within government Clinton went on about? The protection of the almighty gOd of the material world called profit??
Konu: Re: Don't know what handshakes and honour has to do with it
(V): I still have faith in the hand shake / word is bond. However I do believe people are more mistrusting of others these days.
Iron fist / velvet glove (or silk glove) is an expression describing someone who is autocratic but who has a softer exterior. So I was referring to the person. With Bush it was easy, just an iron fist, but you knew where you stood with him. With a velvet glove, this is a very dangerous combination, does one thing, says another.
Konu: Re: With a velvet glove, this is a very dangerous combination, does one thing, says another.
SL-Mark: Unfortunately certain sides of the American politburo have to cater to their bosses that to do things straight in the USA seems to be such a comical circus.
... as they say quite often these days.. follow the cash.
Konu: Re: With a velvet glove, this is a very dangerous combination, does one thing, says another.
(V): Sadly this true, but not just of the US.
The US has such a large economic influence on the rest of the world, the policy and legislation that we end up with (I say 'we' as it impacts us all, not just US citizens) simply please the few (global organisations) and hurt the many.
Konu: Re: he policy and legislation that we end up with (I say 'we' as it impacts us all, not just US citizens) simply please the few (global organisations)
SL-Mark: Aye.. One sore point over banks and the signing of a declaration they will stop helping tax avoidance.
... only a few signed up... now they are being told they must sign by a certain date.
Konu: Re: he policy and legislation that we end up with (I say 'we' as it impacts us all, not just US citizens) simply please the few (global organisations)
(V): Yes, a demand made by the G20 last year. Agreement has been made with Liechtenstein, tax on interest expected to raise £1bn for UK coffers. Negotiations currently in progress with others and the Swiss. The latter will be an even bigger contribution!
Difficulty is that the world of offshore banking is huge, and new loop holes will be found.
