i think resigning being worth the maximum is a good compromise. It may take a few moves to rule out a gammon on some occasions, but it would be much quicker than not allowing a resignation at all.

If you want to save on bandwidth you can reduce the amount of information that shows up in your pages in the Settings. Try changing the number of games in the main page and the number of messages per page. (pauloaguia)
